My Escape rental is up in February next year. I would love to go EV or at least hybrid with my next rental. I would buy but I always seem to get rear ended within 3-4 years of my purchase. First was my ‘08 Escape and was $11k in labour/damage, and the lady was charged under the highway act for how hard she hit me (+50km/h) My 2nd time was about $6-7k repair on my ‘13 Escape after being hit from behind by an 85 year old man in a Walmart parking lot. Now my last 2 Escape’s have been rentals and so far, nothing. Well ok I did have a piece of wood fly off a truck an smash the windshield of my current car on the highway 4 months into my rental. Other then that I’ve been fine and stick with Ford because of my dad’s x-plan discount that we still get (almost saves the tax)

Recently all these shooters are reported to have some body armour on them, while committing these horrendous crimes. From what I heard last night is that you will need proof to show you need it for work purposes only, like security guard service. I’m for it I guess

I gotta say that there is a growing older population that I saw going into my former store to try cannabis for the first time. Got some who would come in on their own and talk about growing up in the 60’s and “not being cool enough” to try back then. Also a lot of adult kids bring their elderly parents into try. Now that it’s legal, they said they were willing to try anything. Lotta people go for the gummies, oils and pills. I would look into balanced THC&CBD options for the relief they want but the THC high shouldn’t be as intense for them with the CBD kind of negating that intoxicating effect. Also look for the newest craze soon to hit the market, CBG for stomach issues and pain relief as well. I stopped taking my opioids 3 days after my wrist surgery and used nothing but my weed and Advil after that. Some strains just makes you feel good that you ignore the pain, but some strains I do notice the pain relief. Bruce Banner#3 for instance is my moms go too strain for his knee and shoulder inflammation. For me my strain that strain is Do-Si-Dos p, but also makes me a little sleepy sometimes. also @stepeethe CBD effect will gradual work better over time with daily consistent use for your pain. This is according to my former manager and he knew his shit

With my long hauler Covid, wrist still acts up after surgery 2+ years later, broken foot/ankle still swells 25yrs later, and whatever this stomach/back pain issue I have going on. Which I have appointments for X-rays, ultrasound and tub into my stomach. Still I’m not thinking murder is the solution to ease my pain or for loss of income. My weed is great for that comfort, but again, whatever I have right now. It doesn’t allow my weed to work the way I know it should on me. Dropped another 11lbs in 3 weeks because I can’t eat.

The GTA region is currently in the midst of some bad violent carjackings. Some are following people to their homes or parking lot spots, and then robbing them by gunpoint. Besides that, it’s a pretty great place to be and grow your own weed(in most provinces)

If you have the tv/projector and home theatre setup for watching. That would be a big hell yeah in buying a dedicated player for viewing because of the better picture quality/tweaks. I don’t think Dolby Vision works for physical media on the Series X(yet) I would look into the Panasonic 420/820 units for a dedicated player. I bought my Oppo when they announced they would no longer be selling their physical disc players. They also made their players, on purpose, very easily hacked to go region free. Another great bonus feature for us importers, is the ability to import your own selected subtitles via USB. This feature I will need to figure out soon for my copy of The Mermaid 3D and my recent Japanese Marvel 3D imports. They have an english soundtrack but sadly the english subtitle doesn’t carry over. So for like White Widow/Shang-Chi and their foreign land languages means I would need the subtitles on for the entire film. My hearing isn’t there yet, so I prefer them left off for the entire film or until needed.

Happy to see that Spider-Man: No Way Home found a 3D home for a disc release. I gotta import from Australia or wait for the Amazon listing, sadly Region B locked, but thankfully my Oppo 203 is region free. Not out until July/August but here’s a link for the 3D region free player owners

That wasn’t a Sonic game and it has some pretty bad pop ups there in the gameplay. I know still early but what the hell are you suppose to do but run and hope you discover something. It looked bland and Sonic I think really only works in the 2/2.5D gameplay style. Sonic is all about speed and that looked more like a child on a sugar high, crashing, high and slowly calming down again. I still have some control issues with the gameplay, but wish it stayed closer to the Dreamcast Adventure series of games instead.
