  1. My wife was on the voting group and has been fielding calls/zoom meetings for the last 2 weeks. The Judith was for lack of a better word a bitch to everyone and didn't really care to engage with any of the moderates during the process.
  2. That is something that I have told my wife and and others that are close to me. Just like driving, you can be the best safest driver the world has ever seen. Sadly, you share the road to millions of other and all it takes is one stupid moron to screw up everything for you.
  3. I remember I started following the virus in December and remember thinking that "if this get here, we have the wrong leadership to handle it." Fast forward a bit and we were more prepared than most, due to having 3d printers I already had masks and nitrile gloves. But what I remember is going to get my wife in 70mph winds during a 2 hour round trip drive. After that I went into how I could help and started 3d printing faceshields for the local hospital to help with any supply issues. Making ear savers and disposable door hooks for people that wanted them in the community. Other things I remember is that our sheriff's department had to escort a delivery of fruits and veggies because we were getting much in the way of produce.
  4. I have always found it interesting that we have had 15 presidents and only 6 parliamentarians since the job was introduced.
  5. Federal judge rules eviction moratorium is unconstitutional WWW.CNN.COM A federal judge in Texas on Thursday ruled that the federal moratorium on evictions is unconstitutional, according to court documents. Seems like a good place to put this one.
  6. I'm am still using a Corsair Air 540. I just love how much space there is inside it for whatever I need. But, I do believe it has been discontinued for glass and RGB version.
  7. I know for as much as they spent on this thing you would think they would have sprung for a higher quality dead cat to get rid of the wind noise.
  8. I mean they did find that there was a kid in Italy I think it was that had symptoms of something and they checked and found that he might have had it before the Wuhan outbreak.
  9. I just had to replace a battery on my 1000 and seen that there was some bloating. It was slight, and I had to replace it anyway as the battery held maybe an hour charge. Also it should be noted that this Vita was bought second hand and look like it had the battery replaced by Sony as there was a warranty sticker with hand written date on the battery itself.
  10. I hate how Rep. McCaul says that he thinks it is great "AOC and Beto are crossing party lines." It wasn't about crossing party lines, it is about helping follow Americans in need. Something that Republicans seem to forgot how to do in recent decades unless it is them that need to be helped.
  11. Hey, don't let something like science and basic electrical knowledge get in the way of the Texas thought process.
  12. The local bank is limiting all transactions to $200 today as they are having connection issues to their servers in Texas. People here are pissed as if you need to make a larger deposit or purchase you need to visit the bank in person. Seems like larger transactions aren't a given if you visit in person, it is up to the manager on duty if you get clearance to do so. The bitching about town is pretty epic at the moment.
  13. This is ours: Electric Consumption 1,703.000 kWh x 0.08581 146.13 Temp. Green Power Financing 1,703.000 kWh x 0.00089 1.52 Renewable Energy Program 1,703.000 kWh x 0.00249 CR 4.24 CR Energy Efficiency Charge 1,703.000 kWh x 0.00195 3.32 Natural Disaster Protection Plan 1,703.000 kWh x 0.00025 0.43 Basic Service Charge 15.25 Local Government Fee 2% 3.25 Universal Energy Charge 1,703.000 kWh x 0.00039 0.66 Total Electric Service Amount $166.32 About 2 years before we moved here there was no electric bills as the military base provided power to the town. Then Sierra Nevada Power bullied in saying it was unfair and ended that.
  14. Man alive, I just checked my bill for the last 30 days and it was $166 for 1700ish kWh. The usage is higher than normal due to our house being electric heating as the alternative here is propane and it was a ton more expensive.
  15. Have we got to the one about how a, I guess now former mayor, told people that they just need to pull up there bootstraps as nobody owes them anything at this time. Texas Mayor Publicly Abandons His Town To Winter Disaster: The City ‘Owes You NOTHING!’ WWW.MEDIAITE.COM Now-former Mayor Tim Boyd gave his entire town the kiss-off in the midst of a winter disaster in Texas that has left millions without power in freezing temperatures, telling residents that "The City and County, along with power providers or any other service owes you NOTHING!"
  16. It just wasn't the first time I heard the 90 day thing. Hell, when I went to schedule my appointment that was one of the questions. It wasn't "Have you tested positive?" It was "Have you tested positive in the last 3 months?" Might be somebody seen something higher up and that just became overarching policy in certain areas.
  17. We know a person that was asymptomatic that was told 90 days. So that might just be the overall guidance.
  18. All I thought when I watch that is "Holy shit Lauren Graham has actually aged."
  19. I believe that is only for unopened vials. After breaking the seal you have up to 12 hours I think, but they would rather it be administered within 6 hours.
