Anzo and his magical mystery arm!

YouTube Red is for Cobra Kai. Everything else is just a perk. Of course, you can get YouTube TV and still get Cobra Kai. When we move that's the TV provider we'll be going with.

So, we had technicological issues aplenty for the video. The first app wouldn't let us connect multiple phones without syncing them via the desktop app, and we don't have any computers here. Then I switched to a different app, which DID allow us to connect multiple phones. But then the WiFi at the hotel was spotty at best, and the wedding was outside. So, at the last minute, I checked my LTE, which was pretty fantastic, so I turned on my hotspot, had the other two phones connect to the hotspot... and it all just worked. All three phones were able to communicate with one another. There's more footage that I'll upload after the trip.

It worked?

This may get tricky. I had to switch apps because the original app wouldn't let us connect multiple cameras. Now the feed may or may not be messed up. If you have the YouTube app, the link works. If not, you get an invalid error. Easiest way is to just search my name in YouTube, go to my channel, and the live video should appear once we're live. I used all the rtmp info for my live channel, so it should be correct. Fingers crossed.

That's definitely not what she said.

I don't think @Anzo would appreciate that much. If @stepee had come, I could have curb stomped his penis.

Sadly, we'd have issues getting that through the airport. We'll have lightsabers, though!

https://www.youtube.com/user/EmbIazon/live Set to start at noon Eastern on Friday (12/21), but we'll start the feed a bit sooner. All are welcome. And a HUGE thank you to all that helped make this happen. We appreciate it more than you know.

And it takes place in Santa Clara, murder capitol of the world. They're fighting Kiefer Sutherland from The Lost Boys. It also features the Frog Brothers, and Tim Cappello, the shirtless sax badass from the pier in the movie. This music video ranks up there with Sweep the Leg.

Most other horror movies are shit, too. Other genres are held to a higher standard, horror should be as well. Halloween has RotS level of egregious stupidity. -

Because it has Blair Witch level of stupidity throughout the entire film. -

No shit--and I'm sure Ridley Scott thinks Covenant is the best Alien movie he's ever worked on. Halloween was a fantastic homage to previous entries, a very well produced film, but an absolute shit horror movie. -

Hereditary is brilliant. Halloween is what goes on my "meh" list. -

I'm sure my response came back harsher than intended, but I was trying to make the distinction between stopping reading a book because you weren't into the story, versus stopping a book because you didn't feel the writing style stimulated your intellect enough. If the latter is the case, well, there goes 98% of comics ever written.

That's like saying you read half of Sorcerer's Stone and never went back because you didn't like that it took place in England. It's doing a huge diservice to both the franchise and yourself. Also, I'm rather curious--what writing style dictates "young adult"? Is it only considered to be "high literature" when big boy words that require a dictionary are used? Or is it something dreadful that requires 3 pages of straight existential exposition... because only an adult would be dense enough to dredge through that. I can see "intended for a younger audience", but then you're still riding a fine line. Take Ratatouille, for example--is it a movie intended for kids? Absolutely. Would it be considered a kid's movie? Absolutely not. I've tried to get through Way of Kings on two separate occasions, and stopped at nearly the exact same place both times--and it had nothing to do with the writing style, but everything to do with the horrible plot structure. While the book may amount to something at some point, the first couple hundred pages do little to establish anything of substance. And while it may seem like I'm doing something similar by writing off Way of Kings, I'm choosing to do so not because of writing style, but because the story is an incomprehensible mess. Shit, Game of Thrones has a better structure than Way of Kings... and that's saying something.
