Fuck this country's misconstruement of the 2nd amendment. No country in the world, Middle East or otherwise, cares as much about guns as Republicans do. Republicans are the reason this country is on the path towards making the movie Idiocracy a historical document.

So... because the movie was intentionally shitty, that made it good? CitW took those horror tropes and put them to clever use. Halloween took those tropes, rehashed them, put a fresh coat of higher production value paint on it, and called it homage. Whilst I could write an extensive list of all the shitty writing moments in this movie, nothing was worse than the most unintentionally comical line in film this year--"Happy Halloween, Michael". To be clear--the only problem I had with this movie was its horrible writing.

I wish I could go back to saying that. This is a well produced film, built around homage at every turn, but as it own horror movie it's a big steaming turd. Motivations, actions, plot, and resolutions are all horrible. The only parts that didn't have me cringing are what's already been shown in the trailers.

Before Triage, I would always fall asleep to audiobooks. Fell asleep in no time. Problem is, the next day I'd have little memory of where I left off!
