  1. It's that small. What's funny is Samsung is running an ad on TV that shows a foldable phone where the screen on the front covers the entire surface. The phone in the video is quite a bit thinner, too. Countdown until someone sues Samsung for false advertising?
  2. It makes sense so the screen doesn't crease, but it really sucks for dust particles that you know will fly in between the screens and scratch the holy hell out of it.
  3. Can I remap it to recede into the body of the phone and vanish into the ether?
  4. I love the KFP series, but this series is better. I'd definitely put it head to head with Toy Story... HtTYD has a better second entry.
  5. I'm on AT&T right now. It's not bad at all, I just adore the transparency of John Legere and the perks that T-Mobile offers on a weekly basis. Plus, once 5G hits, I don't think connection is going to be an issue.
  6. If you're switching companies, I've been through them all, and T-Mobile was by far the best cellular company I've had. I left for a company discount and have been itching to go back ever since.
  7. I really can't believe there's no stylus in the Fold. I still don't think the Android gestures are on par with the iOS gestures. They really need to just up and ditch the 3 bottom button ideology at some point. Swipe up to go back is just flat out goofy. And there hasn't been a need for a dedicated "Menu" button in years. While the Fold is super interesting, it's not $2000 interesting. And the S10 does nothing for me. Looks like I'm waiting to see what iOS 13 has to offer. This is the longest I've suck with one cell phone, and I've had cell phones since 1999. I've had my X since December 2017.
  8. It's being covered right now. In-screen ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
  9. The entire stage is a screen. That might be the most impressive tech at the event.
  10. Nobody, under any circumstance, should ever purchase those. It absolutely boggles my mind that the maker of some of the most comfortable cans in the world can also make unbearable vice grips like the 280s.
  11. I'm very much thinking about going against my own advice and getting this for my next setup: Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2Ch DTS:X 1000W 45-Inch Sound Bar System with Dual 10" Subwoofers (Wireless) & Four 2-Way Rear Surround Speakers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBYXRNQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_k8YACbXHSC8DE 9.2.4 set-up. I had to start rethinking how I was going to set everything up because, if we get the place we want, the living room will have a 20' flat ceiling, with the couch/TV in the middle of a room that has hardwood floors. So unless we had them build speaker ports into the walls, there's no way to run hidden speaker wire to the rear speakers. The above system almost sounds too good to be true, but the reviews seem stellar.
  12. Saw it a couple weekends ago. It's fantastic. Have your tissues ready.
  13. Anna and the Apocalypse - 5/5 Christmas movie, zombie film, musical. And it knocks all three out of the park.
  14. No sweat. I've only been on one, I think, so I'm hardly what you would call a "regular". Besides, who's to say anyone would even want me on more.
  15. Ooh, can we have an Anthem sucks podcast? Or a more aptly titled "what's worth spending money on in Q1", which could also consist of electronics, too. Get @nacthenud on the show to talk about his new set up.
  16. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World - 9.5/10. Honestly one of the best movie trilogies of all time. A near perfect endcap, and I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait to see it again in 3 weeks.
  17. They really need to get rid of those buttons on the bottom and go full gesture. I've heard the gesture implementation for the S9 was half assed.
  18. Ok, no really, where's the real nominations list??? And I still stand by Blindspotting is the better film between it and BlacKKKlansman.
