So the geek squad came by and assessed the TV and saw that it was indeed not working but they seemed to think it's the main board and a powerboard not the screen. It the screen were needing replaced they would recommend no repair and to just replace but for now they have to try this first, Good thing is that they will be here again with parts on the 8th of november so just a tad over 2 weeks without the TV is a possibility, I'm also fine with that, I'm going to continue paying the 7.99 a month warranty/insurance on the TV as it's past the initial 2yr coverage under the Total Tech umbrella. I'm fine with that, hopefully if it's gonna die again it does it within the next 3 years of sp but I have the option to cover the TV now monthly for 7.99 for the next 5 years if I want it to still have a warranty. It's just to expensive to outright have to replace than maybe pay an additional 479.99 to cover it for then next 5 years. I'm going to do that and enjoy content at it's brightest at all times not worrying about dead pixels or burnin as that's all part of the coverage. I was excited to maybe be getting the LGC3 but now that I know most likely it's just going to be fixed I'm down with that also just fine. WE LOVE LOVE our LGC1 83" TV and it's a pivotal part of our home theater eco system along with our all SVS Ultra/Prime Pinnacle/Evolutions 13 speaker 7.2.4 Dolby atmos system. Movie night will be back to normal very very soon! Having the complete entertainment system apart so that Geek squad could get to the TV allowed me to finally get off my ass and hook up the final piece to the 13 speaker home theater room, out Outlaw 7 channel 1000 watt amp! Now only the 4 Dolby atmos speakers up high will be powered by the Onkyo's RZ-50's {and all decoding of course} internals amps, and all 7 of the floor speakers Front L, Center, Front R, R side surround, R Rear, L Rear, L side surrounds will all have a healthy dose of power from the external amp. This was how it was intended I just hadn't moved the amp in yet as it's 70Lbs and I have a very bad back....lol The 2 PB 2000 SVS subs that are paired with this system are so incredible I can't believe I'm not hearing more in the Home theater community on them, they handle all the Low thunder you could EVER ask for in a very compact footprint. here they are here in vase anyone's interested as I love them so much. I will never go back to a single sub system ever unless limited by space that is! CAN'T RECOMMEND THESE SUBS ENOUGH! Just incredible Oh and lastly, if you can afford the extra money go with the high gloss black {OR White} finishes on any of SVS speaker lines, looks and feels very premium

Elden ring really had it's hooks in my over the past 2 months. I really took my time and really let in all sink in and it's just a wonderful game. The amount of time that had to have gone into making that world boggles the mind. I have only ever beaten one Fromsoft game and that was Demon souls on the ps4. I do have the remake but just haven't felt the urge to jump into that pain really. I knew I would struggle in this game but the story and the exploration / open world in just crazy fun and it seems to never end. I ended up putting in over 100 hours and I made it to Melania and that's where I still am. I can't beat her, had to walk away but it's been a fantastic ride and every bit deserving all the 10/10 scores it's gotten. Took me over a year to jump into it but the wait was well worth it. Few games have captured my attention like ER has, especially in a very long time where games seem to not have that since of wonder anymore. This game does for sure. No I haven't beaten in yet but that's never going to distract from how incredible the ride was and is easily in my top 25 games all time. Was playing the new Forza until my LGC1 83" died monday. Using my logitech wheel forget the model but it's the one I bought for the X1X and still works on the Series X. Also a great game and kinda bummed I'm stuck playing it my 65" LGCX. I know boohoo, poor mee. And I agree. Now that Elden Ring is put away it's gonna be either Dying Light 2 of Breath of the Wild 2. Haven't decided yet with Forza being played in between.

You have both parts in your top 5 games EVER? So....like there's just 3 spots in the hole of video gaming left in your top 5 games? Both games are really good, definitely in the top 25 Playstation games ever, but as a whole there not even in my top 50. Just my opinion and I'm old so probably just that I have many more games under my belt most likely. I didn't even replay them when they were updated. I did beat them both and the dlc on normal and on a harder difficulty and moved on. Glad you LOVED them that much and I respect your opinion!

CRAZY!!! That's nearly 7500MB/s really cool and crazy how prices have come down from just a year ago. The 4TB is 279.99 {was, it's now 299.99 w/heatsink for the 4TB} With a brand new full build coming in about one 18 months or so when ever the 5080/5090 is available that is {?} I'm glad i'll be able to save some money somewhere as i'm sure Nvidia isn't gonna help much in that category. A 2TB operating system drive and a 4TB gaming drive for $410 is pretty sweet sounding as these are the fastest drives out there that I'm aware of? Link below anyways. Though this is a great price on a very fast drive it's pretty much overkill for the PS5! Pretty sure it's compatible up to 4TBs? it's much faster than the PS5 is capable of utilizing. Still it's a great drive to pop in there as it comes with a heatsink and Sony recommends using one when upgrading your storage bay! AMAZON: It's $144 but has a &25 off coupon

REALLY AM MISSING The o'83" especially playing Forza. Best Buy is coming on the 31st and it can't get here fast enough! After that the credit should be pretty strait forward and I can buy the C3 and get it installed in less that 2 weeks from now fingers crossed! didn't even realize I paid $5090.99 for the C1 and that will lead me with $1099 left over easily affording a 7 year warranty as planned I guess. Agreed, It's incredible! Like said above, I'll deal with the inconvenience for a lgc3 with its added brightness and the extra 1000 bucks will go toward a 7 year warranty. It really sucked as we LOVE our 83" c1 but the c3 is just a dreamy TV. Not that there was much wrong with the c1 at all. It is what it is, I'll never ever go without a warranty on tvs over 65". Crazy how this is the only TV I have had ever tanked on me. I was shocked the c3 was 3999.99 too. 7 years of piece of mind on tvs that cost 4-5k is pretty nice if one can afford it.

For some context, my TV was bought new from BestBuy for $4999 on October 30th 2021! Last week it just shut off while watching a movie with the wife. Grabbed the remote and it turned back on fine and was fine after that. Last Saturday it did the same thing but while I was playing The "NEW" Forza! Annoying but turned back on right after. Today I was playing Forza again with the Wheel and it shut off. Grabbed the Remote and Nothing. Waited 10 minutes, again nothing. Hooked up a fan to blow behind it and still nothing, also tried all the normal crap like Unplugged and plugged back in, different outlet, etc still NOTHING! I signed up for BB's Total Tech program as it covers anything you buy from them for a flat fee yearly of 199.99 {It's since changed to 179.99} and protects products for 2 years while under the plan and also offers a continued warranty on anything after the 2years for a monthly fee if so desired. My plan was to pay the TT price and then cover the TV for the next 5 years after that at $8.99 a month after the 2yrs. Well.....The 2yrs is up on Oct 30th 2023!! CRAZY. So I jumped in my truck and drove down to BB to see what can be done! Turns out that after 2years they don't fix these TV's they just give a Credit for in store purchase towards a New TV! So I scheduled an in home diagnoses appointment for Oct 31st. The Geek Squad store manager said I would 100% not be able to get the TV repaired but that I would be Getting a $4999.99 credit and I looked and They have the LGC3 83" at $3799.99! WOW so instead of having to pay the 179.99 a year to continue there Total membership I will be able to buy a LGC3 83" and a 7 year warranty for $849.99. So yea this is a miserable event and does suck but in the end I'll end up with what is said by many sources as the Best Gaming TV pretty much you can buy other than the G series that is stupid EXPENCIVE. Looks like I'M GAMING ON THE 65" LGCX exclusively for the next few weeks. No telling how long I'll have to wait for a swap out and install on the new TV but in the end It's quite an upgrade at least. The LGCX & C1 TV's I have are fantastic do not get me wrong, but the LGC3 is quite a bit brighter especially in HDR and Dolby vision and it'll be covered for 7 years in case this happens again down the line. I'll be pocketing $150 bucks all said and done and that's for a better TV, and a 7 YEAR WARRENTY!! that will really give me piece of mind at least. Final note: This is the very first TV I have ever had just quit on me, thank god I still payed a bit more to cover my ass on such an expensive TV!! Thoughts?

Been playing Elden Ring and loving it............. That was up till the Fire giant! Fuck that guy!!! I'm level 121 and just could not get that guy down. So I had to walk away for a couple days. Started up the new Forza and hooked up my G29 wheel and have been loving that also. Game pass is a great service at a reasonable price! Today I fired up Elden Ring again with the mindset of 20 tries and then put it back down again if need be. After about another 4 tries I changed up my ashes of war (AGAIN of course) on my generic +18 sword to one with bleed from lighting and also decided to slow it down and was successful today. Pretty great moment I must say. Had to be at least 150 tries. I know that's what these games do but it's not healthy to be that frustrated!!!

Stepped away from Elden Ring today to hook up my G29 racing wheel & Forza Motorsport and was pretty excited to! I love Racing games though I am not very good. I have spent at Least 150 hours playing Dirt 2.0 {Not dirt rally} on PC&Xbox over the last 4 years and it's my favorite racing game ever. Bing a HUGE Forza Horizon fan too I admit I had/have massively huge expectations going in. This game is just Pretty! The Eye candy is top notch though to be fare so is GT7 but a have but 3 hours or so on that game as I have no wheel for the PS5 and that has always kept me from really enjoying PS racers in general. So....To start off, this is is horse shit when it comes to wheel settings out of the box. My god I have a lot of tuning before this games feels right. Massive shame. With a controller It's fine but man I guess I have my homework for the next few days. I'll up date my overall opinion to anyone who cares but I have to get this wheel dialed in, so I'll be playing mainly practice laps and none career mode for the next few to get that right. I'm sure it's there it's just well hidden right now...lol

VERY VERY much loving Elden Ring! It's just so good. I know I'm late to this party but I almost never start games right away anymore. I was playing Starfield but have shelved it for ER for now! Crazy to still have these to play..... 1.God of War: Ragnorok 2.Dying light 2 3.Both Spidermans 4.Demon Souks remake 5.Death stranding 6.Death loop 7.Gran tourism 7 8.Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart 9.Xenoblade 3 10.Returnal 11.Ghostwire Tokyo 12.Horizon: Forbidden West 13.Final fantasy remake 14.tiny Tina's Wonderland 15.New Age of Empires Just to name a few...lol

It's a near perfect game IMHO but I'm a HUGE Dead Space fan so a bit biased. When I heard that it was getting remade I was so excited. Such a fantastic game played in the dark on an LGC1 83" with a 7.2 surround system! {sorry, a bit of self tooting there....my bad} It's a very memorable game to me at least. Now........ back on topic, I recently did a stupid thing a started Starfield and then started Elden Ring 2 days after. I'm liking SF a lot but am overwhelmed with the amount of from the stuff to learn from the start to be honest. I'll get it but it is what it is, so I did what every gamer should....started another 100+ hour in Elden Ring...lol Two huge games that require large amounts of attention started back to back and to make things so much worse, on THE SAME CONSOLE!!!! I'll end up shelving one of them but for the time being I'll dip into both here and there for this month. Elden Ring has been that Diamond I put away for a rainy day pretty excited to have a game like that that I spoiled nearly nothing. I'm going in cold and I'm not a good souls like player so I have to over level and grind like crazy to even have a chance but I know this going in so there's that!

Just about to start Starfield gampass edition. Also been playing Riders Republic on PS5, U had "NEVER" even heard of this before yesterday and it's pretty fun. I played a bit of Steep but I'm liking this a bit more right now.

@stepee your SD screen is dead? is it modded has it been opened? I wouldn't mind a shot a fixing it if that's on the table? I have opened mine 2x now. I did the Hall Effects joy sticks w/ the soldering for the track pads, I do know it's insides pretty well by now......

@Chris- Man I hope this guy plays the thing, he has just a single game { FibbageXL } on Steam. Not judging but that seems pretty impossible! This coming from a guy with a MASSIVE backlog , Anyways it's so stupid that Steam won't allow a Gift card to a friend till 72hours after the friend request is excepted, and that is today! MAN what a GREAT gift, this one makes me jealous and it shouldn't, but it does damnit. I managed to hold off on the 4080/90 and the 3080/90 but it was hard, as I love having a badass gaming pc and have now for well over 25 years. Been burdened a bit by life these past 5 years though, a bit anyways. I'm REALLY excited to get the 5080Ti or 5090 what ever when they are here. Seems like to big a year/number to not really go huge on this one for Nvidia, at least to me. I have never spent over 1500$ on a graphics card but I'm willing to do a 5k budget top end Gaming Rig late 2024 or when ever we actually get these cards. This will have to last 5 years though and seems so long away but I'm really excited for this one again as by then we should really be fully recovered from that damned fire, 100% back on our feet and not being pulled everywhick why by stress and bullshit, When those 50 series cards are here I'll be seeing you there bright and early my friend . . .
