I've really tried to like the paper mario series and nope. Interest always drops off dramatically after 10 hrs or so. And yet I've tried all of them so them problem is me. But SMRPG held my interest from the get go and never let up. Probably because I was a Square fan boy once upon a time -

Rockstar has always pushed the envelope to the edge so to speak so I'm curious to see how they will approach things this time around. Those that can't wait to be offended will have some good times I think

And Lords of the Fallen just got yet another patch that nerfed multiple weapons and took earned upgrades away because reasons. CI games clearly has no clue what they're doing opposed to Fromsoft. I'd definitely stick to BG3 and Super Mario Wonder

I'll be honest I'm not impressed with the engine. At all. Maybe the potential for whatever it's capable of isn't being pulled out of it at the moment but I've never played a game this Gen that uses that with as many game breaking bugs as I've experienced

Yeah I was a little salty this morning. Wasn't feeling good and didn't sleep the night before. But still, after a delete and reinstall its serviceable. But shouldn't have had to come to that just to select an item from the inventory and not fall through levels into glitchville

Nevermind. This game is BY FAR the biggest technical pile of sh!t on the PS5 BY FAR. Will definitely be attempting to get my money back. Falling through maps, inventory glitches where you can't select the item you want, randomly going into 3D mode a feature no one gives a crap about anyway. Screw this 'game' company. I hope. They go bankrupt and everyone loses their jobs

Tbh I've already put 15+ hours in and don't agree with any of his issues. But to each their own. Sometimes when you've made up your mind to not like something every tiny little negative thing can fuel it further into 'fact' or your own version of it. I've done it myself so it is what it is

Well I enjoyed it but it's only because I know where it's 'From'. Good ideas surrounded by stiff animations and odd level design but still somehow kept the carrot on a stick

This is a good game. Not FS levels of great (but nothing Soulslike really is) but it's absolutely worth playing if you're a fan of the genre. Yeah, performance issues early on and maybe it's just me but they seem to get better the farther you get into the game. And @Bacon was actually somewhat correct that it does favor DS2. But this is more polished and fleshed out and better in my opinion. Definitely worth playing
