  1. It's honestly not as bad as the soulsbornerings. I mean, theres a TON of customization if you're having trouble with a boss or area, the community has had PLENTY of time to be helpful with anything you might need. It's just a fun, satisfying game for me. Something I've sorely missed lately with all the tedium of Lords of the Fallen and a handful of other games
  2. Yeah I just recently watched a few videos. It looks really interesting and macabre
  3. The money I got for Christmas is having a tough time not being spent on a Steam Deck. Havent heard anything about Dredge but I'll be sure to check it out whenever I end up losing to self control lol
  4. I'll come back to that. I just didn't realize I'd like AC6 as much. Ive always had a soft spot for giant Mechs so it was bound to happen eventually lol
  5. For me it's Armored Core 6. Blown away by how much I'm enjoying this game. I haven't enjoyed an AC since the PS2 days. BG3, SMRPG, and a handful of other games took a hard back seat to this. What's everyone else getting into?
  6. Good lord at the depth of content in this game. I got kinda stuck on the giant spider boss in the cave area below Blighted Town so I backtracked to the starting area outside the crashed ship and found a locked trap door. Opened it up and found several new weapons, a horde of undead enemies, an amulet and a new necro character for the camp. No way I would have found it if I hadn't been a tad under leveled for the spider bastard and went exploring. Also found a rock I could move that hid a chest full of armor and weapons
  7. I don't have the greenbacks especially this time of year. I do want one though, especially knowing the screen is bigger than a Switchs screen
  8. I'm gonna let a spider bite me then jump off a building to see if this game is pulling some shenanigans
  9. Same. Just never interested me. I'd have to be convinced to try it
  10. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I get that stuff because I've been playing RPGS since 1987 but I don't think of it and apply it like I used to
  11. This is where I'm having spaghetti Os in my brain. The rolls and checks etc. I know it's heavily based on D&D dice and board rules and I'm about 20 years out of touch on all that so I'm basically doing the best I can at what looks right. Kudos and respect to you guys that get scientific with your understanding of this stuff
  12. Kind of cross posted but this game reminds me of what Bioware USED to be before EA neutered them way back when. Larian was not messin around when they made this. Definitely deserved game of the year. Even better than I had thought it would be and I'm only about 7 hrs in
  13. Gotta admit, it's even better than I thought it would be. Larian absolutely grand slammed on this one. Very situational, strategic and methodical but absolutely worth it if you even have a fraction of interest in RPGs. Reminds me a little of what Bioware USED to be once upon a time
  14. You could if you learned how accept jolly cooperation. That's how I got through the game. Multi-player help will take you a looooooong way in that game if you aren't as skilled as youd like or once were
  15. I think @Phaseknox and @EternallDarkness have us all beat in that area lol. I know me and @nublood are nipping at the half century mark ourselves
