Exact same for me. I've tried to like those games but I check out after multiple attempts fail at caring about anything to do with high school or the related scenarios about high school problems

I get like that sometimes but usually when I know I don't like something that's it. But games are weird. I can turn my nose up at onethen months later in a drought or whatever I'll give it a try and every now and then be pleasantly surprised

Wait.. now you're interested? Lol The back and forth is hilarious. Keep it up! This way when you play Rebirth we can all be entertained by the Jekyll and Hyde thing

That's probably why I push through the difficulty of From Soft games and soulslikes. They let you actually play the game difficulty and all and let you find as much of the story as you want at your own pace and don't force cutscenes every 4 steps like *cough* FF7 Rebirth. But I know that was a really pivotal part of the story. And HOLY CARP have I grown to hate sections of games where you have to slowly crawl to an objective or inexplicably slow walk because REASONS. NOT for me anymore

I definitely DON'T like not using my controller considering all it takes for me just to turn on a console and sit down to 'play' for a few. So it'll be game PASS for me. You can blame Kojima for that

I don't think so. Youll see what I mean unless they changed it for Rebirth

I beat it in around 25 tbh. Didn't miss that much either. I guess because I played through the original several times I breezed through everything

Wow. They absolutely nailed the feel and atmosphere of the original in Nibleheim. The music took me allllll the way back to my 2 bedroom apartment in 1997. But dadgum do graphics take a hit on performance mode. It's like pc snob vasaline smear all over again. BUT on the positive Sephiroth comes across like he did on the PSX. And the story's high spots.. Well they're pretty high. Square NAILED this.. So far.. Just have to see how the final product is

FFs are what got me into RPGs which is now my favorite genre so I have to give them all a chance on principle. Downloaded the demo so I'll be curious to see how they handled where I think this game will go story wise

I know and I appreciate it, but with Squeenix's history they might try and milk that cow until flour comes out. Especially if Rebirth does well. But maybe they're already committed to 3 and I'm being dramatic. Yep, that's probably it

No, the first one ended pretty early on. I don't even think it made it to the world map which is where I guess this one starts. But I could see them pushing this to 2 more installments

I was being sarcastic. I'm glad you at least tried it. From Soft isn't forgiving at all with casuals but if you're persistent enough you can always find an overpowered build if you're patient enough with grinding etc. AC6 requires a lot of patience with seemingly stupidly over powered and lightning fast bosses.. But there's always an exploit. You just have to be willing to try different play styles that work for you and realize they are programmed to seem unbeatable to intimidate you. Once you realize they are VERY beatable with the right combination of weapons it becomes much easier
