  1. I will say, Iguazu made me change my play style a tad..momentarily. Then I re-readjusted based on his set up and found another compatible build. But that's the beauty of how the game subtly puts a solution right in front of you sometimes. Same with Elden Ring
  2. Yeah. I can. You didn't find it difficult in 45 minutes so I was saying you need to play it more to get a better assessment. But be however snarky you want because you think I don't read or understand your post saying that verbatim. Good luck with wide-screen
  3. Well my friend, I hate to tell you you haven't experienced any level of difficulty in the game. The tutorial area is by far the easiest area in the whole game. Play a little further once you leave the initial dungeon area then see if it's the same experience
  4. Meh. A game has to get progressivly more challenging and make you use more of what the game offers or what's the point? It's a waste of what the developers put into the game
  5. I guess I mean visually. I mean, your punched in the face with bewbs, sexual innuendo, J-pop music, teenage angst, hormones etc etc right off the bat in those games. Maybe it's because I didn't stick with them.. Idk they just turned me off almost immediately in the past
  6. Xenogears is almost TOO good. Lots of complicated systems for attacking, defense etc. Its was ahead of its time IMO. Amazing soundtrack and visuals for the time though
  7. In @best3444 fashion, I'm interested in yet ANOTHER game now lol I've tried to get into the Persona games in the past and nada. Just couldn't get past the extreme juvenile anime cheese. But it appears that stuff doesn't annoy me like it used to as I watch a ton of anime with both of my sons now. Maybe that's why Armored Core 6 is clicking more with me... And Maybe I'll give this a shot on the Switch 🤔
  8. You're playing it wrong if you're doing all that. Again, it's best to play the multitude of other games out right now if its an exercise in frustration playing the game like that. I've never spent more than 15-20 minutes max on one boss and that was in Chapter 4. A tank leg build with dual Gatlin Guns or plasma/pulse cannons and dual multi lock plasma missles on your back and you're literally unstoppable. It breaks the game and as far as I know From hasn't patched it
  9. Exactly. You just have to be willing to put in the effort, if you will, to get around the games 'difficulty'. It can definitely be challenging, but if you're easily frustrated maybe it's not something to commit time to and I totally get that
  10. Maybe I'm just used to From games. But certain weapons that build up stagger etc make bosses trivial. And enemies are just filler. But to each their own. If this isn't doing it for you there's TONS more out there to play. This year was INSANE with quality titles
  11. At first the bullet hell was a little intimidating.. then dual welding plasma cannons and dual plasma missile launchers made him a handicapped kitten
  12. Same for me on all points. Plague Tale didn't hold my interest either. At all. And almost everything about Diablo 4 to ME seemed like the only reason it wanted me to keep playing was to get more money. Not to have me become more powerful through a natural progression of the existing loot in the game. Soured me on the whole experience
  13. This game takes skill. I beat it but it's not an easy game by any means. I Brute forced my way through the final boss by being overpowered and still struggled. This game is harder than Bloodborne. Don't try this or keep playing if you're struggling with AC6
  14. It's a pretty well made AAA quality game but for whatever reason it couldn't hold my interest. I think it's because it seemed more like a game as a service/cash grab and that's where Destiny lost me as well. Games like that aren't meaningful to me in the long run. They only want me to play long term for my hard earned denaros
  15. It's not THAT difficult. But I'm comparing it to other soulsborne games and Lords of the Fallen. And with Lords, it's a developer that doesn't really get difficulty. From Software are the masters of making it difficult but giving you a ton of options to compensate for it.. If your patient enough
  16. @Biggie @best3444 I'm not good at games anymore. I gave up on Lords of the Fallen after one of the final bosses. And I've beaten every boss in this game (Including Balteus after 5-6 tries) and had a blast doing it with MINIMAL help. If I can do it ANYONE can do it. Seriously. I'm not a high level gamer. I'm 48 with slow reflexes and limited time. Just be patient and work on your build. Oh, and plasma cannons
  17. The first boss is basically a skill check and trying to teach you about mobility and locking on etc. Make sure to keep aim assist on by clicking down on the right stick
  18. It's not easy but not all that difficult either. I've solo'd every boss so far and even took on two boss hyper mechs at a time and wiped the floor with them. On a scale of 1 to 10 in difficulty I'd give it a 5-6 MAYBE a 7 if you're running a bad set up
