  1. Started Astlibra Revision. Beat the first boss using a ton of healing items but went back to an earlier save because I had bought a bunch of stuff from the shops yet. Boss was much easier the second time with some more levels gain and new gear.
  2. Mission accomplished. Only the plastic of the buttons was damaged so we just had to get it open to pop out the left over bits of plastic and pop in the new buttons.
  3. Check your phone settings. It probably varies by region and phone but on my Pixel - Settings -> Notifications -> Wireless emergency alerts - has a bunch of settings. I have the actual alerts on but tests disabled. It's set to Vibration and Speak alert message is disabled. Much easier on the ears and heart when you only hear it from other people's phones.
  4. Does this take place right after Mandalorian S3 or just around the same time. If the later, it could be a bit before the end of Mandalorian S3 in which case it would explain why she wasn't present.
  5. My nephew somehow managed to bust the right should buttons off his Pro Controller. Apparently everything still works, the rubber pads under the buttons look fine. From the picture I saw, part of the right bumper is still there so the hinge should be fine. It's harder to tell for the trigger, there appears to be some plastic when I zoom in, so the hinge might be intact. The triggers are supposed to have a metal rod in them but I don't see it and don't know the status of the broken off pieces. If only the outer plastic of the buttons are damaged it doesn't look too difficult to open it up and pop in some replacements (dealing with the metal rod of the trigger looks like the hardest part). I'm going there for Canadian Thanksgiving. Delivery estimates for replacement parts on Amazon don't leave me confident that they'd arrive in time but I could at least take a closer look to prepare for another time. Besides the DIY approach, doesn't anybody know the cost of repairs from Nintendo or uBreakiFix relative to the cost of a new controller? My guess is it's not worth it.
  6. House Speaker Anthony Rota apologizes after inviting man who fought for Nazis to Parliament WWW.CTVNEWS.CA Several Jewish advocacy organizations condemned members of Parliament on Sunday for giving a standing ovation to a man who fought for a Nazi unit during the Second World War.
  7. Finished Tunic. The combat sucked so I turned on some accessibility options to make the game easy. While the idea of finding pages of the manual in game was kind of neat it was mostly annoying. It's too cryptic (parts are gibberish). I might have enjoyed the combat more had I realized that some of the items I collected have to be offered to statues before finishing the game.
  8. There's an option to lower the combat difficulty but in the accessibility options you can prevent health and/or stamina from going down (though the radiation or whatever will still lower your max health, you won't die though). I'd hit the right bumper to try and heal but it wouldn't work, the health bar is too small and getting attacked by groups of damage sponge enemies is too annoying. After having to repeat a section with those gator enemies a few times, I realized it was only a matter of time before I lowered the difficulty so I did. Now I can explore in peace and finish the game faster.
  9. Yeah, it didn't take me long to get fed up with the combat and turn on the accessibility options.
  10. It's overrated in the sense that it is not the best game ever and not better than the games people say it is. It is however a very good and unique game, at least if you go the pacifist route. I had watched a speed run before I played it, the description just seemed weird and I didn't get what the hype was and I wanted to see what it was about. Watching the speed run didn't change that but I still really enjoyed playing it despite having already watched it. I'm not a big fan of the minigame battles but it didn't ruin the game for me. I liked that it was short. Having watched the creepy genocide ending I have no desire to play the game differently (if you ever go down that route it saves it so you will get a creepy scene even if you do a pacifist run afterwards unless you completely erase your saves). I'd rather replay Earthbound and FFVI which I've both played multiple times than replay Undertale. I wouldn't say it's an entry point for anyone interested in JRPGs. Rather's it's for people into retro JRPGs who want to try something different. Still, I think it's worth a play through on the pacifist route, it's not too long, the story is touching, there's some good music and the game is refreshingly different.
  11. Netflix has 13 seasons, Prime 5. Use this whenever you want to figure out what service has a show or movie https://www.justwatch.com/ca
  12. If there's any sort of gambling or a mini game that costs money or another resource for each attempt, you better believe I'm going to save scum.
  13. After finishing Shantae and the Seven Sirens I started Live A Live.
  14. Take the TF2 Demoman's "They're goin' ta bury what's left of ye in a soup can!" but replace "soup can" with "Pringles can".
  15. I just use my hand to feel the back. Don't need to see if you shave it all.
  16. Finished the Pitioss Ruins in Final Fantasy XV. Got my 4th ribbon but I want to retry the last menace dungeon now that I have the Black Hood before I try Omega.
