To be honest, and to this very day, my wife insists that we were nearly kidnapped & potentially trafficked. We had gone to Chicago on vacation back in 2018 or 2019, one of the nights going about town, we finished at this little eatery & snagged some ice cream around the corner afterwards. As we had so many times since arriving in the city, I order an Uber. The notification stated the time, driver, and car as it does ... yet this other car pulled up and seemingly at first was knowledgeable that we were awaiting an Uber. That said, both hers & my own bells were going off in our heads & heart feeling as though something was wickedly sketch & just generally OFF about the way the driver was acting. Very adamant about paying him just straight cash and it'll be cheaper to go with him, etc. Then the actual ride we ordered pulled up behind him so we nearly jumped into it as the first guy took off REAL quick. She's seemingly been haunted by that experience ever since and I've learned to not question my wife when her gut tells her something.

I don't anticipate much from the Titans over the next few years as it feels like we're going into rebuilding. In all earnestness, IF Vrabel AND Henry end up in N.E., then hell I'll happily cheer that team on next season.

I really don't know WHY in the hell this is even a thing. It's called medical privacy. He seemingly followed all rules & regs in the interim & set forth his benefactor to take over just in case. #NotPizza Seriously though, how do you go about making your chili? Personally, I do a 3-2-1 method w/ my proteins (3 lbs chuck/bottom round cut into bit size pieces), (2 lbs ground beef), (1 lb of chorizo sausage). Then I add black, navy, & cannellini beans. Also, typically no less than 3 types of chili peppers (fresh jalapeno, Chipotle in adobo, Ancho pepper powder). I'll typically add both ground ghost & scorpion pepper to my personal bowls after it's cooked, to which I usually use my Le Cruset oval 10 qt. and I put it in the oven for about 3 hours at 300 degrees.

Melissa, Kathryn, AND Dan Stevens!? Then again top to bottom the cast is superb. I've watched this trailer a few times now today, I fear they may have shown far too much. Would have been better suited for a teaser of things to come, but that's my only hang up.

In a way, it's really rather wild to see how far Danny, Alex, and Cillian have all come since the original was released. Seeing their careers flourish the way that they all have, just a beautiful thing to see.

Unrelated, but I do feel as though I should have my own hearing checked, just things I don't pick up on anymore ... damn me for listening to my tunes a bit too loud in my car back in the day.

Just got done watching this and JFC. I despise the evil side of humanity SO much, and this highlights an epidemic.

So early 2023, I had told myself to get out of my comfort zone & try some new drinks. I had NEVER enjoyed bubbles in my water, however I ended up really falling in love with Target's 'Good & Gather' brand of caffeinated seltzer waters. Their blackberry mandarin & "cherry coke" seltzers are delicious. I recently discovered La Croix's 'Beach Plum' and DAYUM this stuff is FIRE! So why not chime in with your favs?

SUCH a phenomenal film/book/soundtrack! Also filmed in locations not too far from me which always warms my heart, such a strong foundation of film history in central/upstate NY!

Jo Koy has never been funny IMHO. Even when on the dias alongside Chealsea Handler on E! back in the day, I wanted to slap this guy. The moment they announced he was the host I legit said aloud "Who's dick he suck for the clout?" because that's the only viable way I can see him getting such a ... "prestigious" isn't remotely the right word, but let's just say a "high profile gig". Anyways, enough on him. I tuned in & in of the show, seemed fine enough I suppose but also I feel a little over award shows as a whole. Glad to see stand-up comedy FINALLY gain better recognition, and while I enjoyed Ricky's special, I feel as though there were others that had come out earlier in the year that were far & away, much better. Again though, comedy is subjective, so there's that. Still have yet to watch anything Succession related, so meh whatever on that. Nice to see Oppenheimer do so well & it makes me look forward to RDJ's acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor.

Unsure if anyone else happened to take advantage of the "secret" sale Amazon was having post holidays (3 for $33 on select 4K's), but I pulled the trigger on Fury Road, Spartacus, & The Town (only own the last already on Blu, never owned either of the other two so figured why not add them to the collection finally.) Also, over the next month or so, I'll receive 'Mean Streets', 'Inside', & 'High Tension' from Second Sight Films, as well as the pushed back Universal Monsters 4K limited collection.

Finally got around to Across the Spider-Verse as well as The Holdovers this weekend. The former really was the best *major* comic book film of 2023, no room to argue that whatsoever. The latter however, I stuck with it about an hour or so in, just wasn't holding my attention to be fair. Twas cool that I learned a bit about human digestion through that trimethylamine being unable to be broken down, in turn causing an odor that resembles that of rotting fish, fascinating.
