  1. Yeah I feel bad for Cavill because everyone was down on him, but I have to wonder if it was the script not doing him any favours. He seems very charming in interviews, so with a better script that has Superman being brighter, more upbeat rather than down and dour maybe he could pull off a more inspiring Superman.
  2. How long before the Apache helicopter is renamed or retired?
  3. 200% this. The Sarah Connor Chronicles was fantastic and I'm still sore it got cancelled.
  4. I would hope, but I don't think anything solid should really be going down your pipes just in case stuff gets caught and builds up over time. I just clip mine over a tissue, and then throw them out.
  5. Going to try and get a game going tomorrow night with some people from Negative World if anyone would like to join.
  6. This is the kind of shit that people should be rightfully criticizing Gates about, not bullshit about microchips in the vaccine. As much good as he does for vaccines awareness and development, it's still for profit for him.
  7. Michael B. Jordan was interested in Black Superman back in 2019. Maybe this will be it. WB offered Will Smith a Superman reboot decades ago but he turned it down.
  8. Well it's not like I'll be able to play that version of the game anymore anyway, so it's a moot point. I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I get around to playing it since it was on PS+, and I've had the first game in my backlog for a few years now. Changing Shelog into a beautiful woman instead of a spider is still stupid though My girlfriend is a huge Lord of the Rings nerd, so I wonder if she'd want to watch me play the games.
  9. That Legends Arceus looks interesting. Guys, I know it looks rough with the poor framerate and all, but it's still a year away. Going all "we need a Switch Pro, the normal Switch is showing its age" is silly. Given that it's a Pokémon game it might still not look great after Sword and Shield showed the team's lack of prowess, but even still judging an early build as if it's complete and that is what the final game will look like is stupid.
  10. That doesn't sound great for your pipes.
  11. Had a feeling that was you. Hadn't seen that account lately.
  12. Sure but didn't it turn it into a terrible grind fest? Even if you had no problems with it, enough people did that they had to put out a major patch retooling the whole game. That's not nothing.
  13. I'm sure it was, maybe "ruined" was too harsh, but I know a lot of people were pretty down on the microtransactions because they really hampered the experience.
  14. Honesty is a very important part of any relationship. We have a agreement that there are no secrets between us. Our second anniversary is this weekend, and in these two years we haven't had a single fight, not because we're withholding anything to avoid one (which is actually more unhealthy than having a fight because that just leads to things building up and exploding), but because we're able to communicate and talk to each other like adults when something is wrong. Our first date went so well in part because we were able to talk all night with no awkward silences. The closest we've had to being upset at the other is if one of us has a really bad day (depressed, panic attack, whatever) and doesn't say anything to avoid getting the other worried, and it's like, "no no, babe, you've gotta tell me these things so I can help". I'm only half Italian, do I count?
  15. Where do I land on that policy for myself? I mean I don't like lying, but I also think it would depend on the circumstances. Going to a strip club yeah I'd tell my girlfriend I'm going (if it was for a bachelor party or something; I wouldn't go on my own since I don't care enough about them) so I could reassure her I'm not going to do anything inappropriate, and hiding that from her wouldn't feel right, because if she ever found out she'd wonder why I didn't tell her. Whereas not telling her that I didn't work on something I said I was going to do is obviously much smaller, or tell her I booked a doctor's appointment to check something out that turned out to be nothing because I didn't want to worry her unless it did turn out to be something more serious. Things like that yeah maybe I wouldn't always tell her because it's less "it won't please her", and more "it will needlessly worry her", but something big that could get her upset, and make her suspicious of me, even if I'm not actually doing something wrong (I have a big moral problem with cheating), it would feel wrong and I would feel guilty, so yeah I would let her know in advance, and if she said she wasn't comfortable with it, like going to a strip club, then I wouldn't go.
