Phil Spencer has been a godsend for Microsoft Xbox it seems. Remember the gaffes from Don Mattrick when Xbox One was unveiled? Definitely helps that Spencer is clearly playing games with a passion just like any other player, and not just some corporate schmuck that Microsoft brought in from Domino's Pizza, or Wal-Mart, or wherever. -

Well that's a relief to hear.

Hmm so I haven't started it yet, but I pressed the Options button on the controller to view Information, and under the view Installed Add-Ons The Old Hunters is listed. So I know at least it got reinstalled. Hopefully I have access to it.

We do not, but they've set the expectation from last gen.

I have such a hefty Playstation 3 and 4 backlog that I can wait for a PS5 Pro, but of course by then I'll have a bunch of games to catch up on. The backlog never ends!
-
I would wait. There aren't enough exclusives out yet, and while playing PS4 games at a higher resolution and framerate would be nice, is it really $500 nice? No. Wait for a sale or bundle.
-
You might as well just tell me the names to look out for then. It's not like I'm going to know what they look like until I see them myself anyway lol
-
I kind of agree with that since this games aren't super heavy on explicit story, and the story is more abstract, and you need to piece things together from item descriptions. Really the main things I would consider a spoiler are showing me bosses or areas that are best left up to a surprise.
-
Spoil how exactly? If it's just the name of a boss I need to beat first then that's probably fine. I know the names of a few of them even if I don't know what they look like or their mechanics, so if you said, "once you beat Amelia [or whatever her name is], a new warp point will open up" then OK I'll be on the lookout for it, even though yeah I know it's more of a late game area so it'll be a while before I can tackle it haha.

Bested Red Dead Redemption last night after many many years of it being in my backlog, playing it for a few hours, and then getting distracted by other games, and then not touching it for years and saying I'd get back to it at some point. Well I finally did! I can see why many people gave it Game of the Year, although from 2010 I'd still prefer Mass Effect 2, and my personal game of the year for 2010, Super Mario Galaxy 2. -

Fox News and their ilk, had there been cable news at the time, would have 100% been on the air complaining about women getting the right to vote. You can just imagine that little dweeb Tucker Carlson going, "these are our mothers, our sisters, and our daughters, and we love them yes, but should they really be allowed to vote for our leaders? Remember that these women stay at home all day taking care of our children and the house, so what kind of worldly knowledge do they even have? Can we really trust them to make as big a decision as to who would be best to run our cities, our states, or even our whole country? What's next, are they going to want to run for office themselves?! Where does this line of thinking lead to? Where does it end?!" *raises eyebrows in faux shock*
