  1. Watching it in the moment that’s actually how I understood it, but memory is a weird thing so who knows. I just wanted people to know that the episode is not free.
  2. This link: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Is a PS5 Version with a Bonus Episode WWW.PUSHSQUARE.COM Coming this June - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7bEoGile7Q&ab_channel=FINALFANTASY Yep, you guessed it, Final Fant... spells it out decently enough, but I don’t fault anyone for being confused. The press wrote their stories as fast as they fucking could, clearly.
  3. Read the articles closer. The upgrade is free, but you have to purchase the episode separately is how I’m reading it. If you buy the remake straight up on PS5, it’s included.
  4. The episode is not free I don’t believe but I’d love to be shown that is not the case.
  5. I thought I was done with FF7R but if that episode is reasonably priced I will likely grab it especially if it has any important story beats.
  6. Daily, sometimes twice a day. 4 people and god we are just constantly doing dishes.
  7. The FF8 thing is a non starter since FF titles don’t share plots game to game. Two main points tho: 1. Again, without spoiling it FF7R is not what you think it is. I’l trying to be respectful and not go farther than that, but you’ll just have to take my word for it that that matters and I am making a point in good faith, not just saying you’re wrong to argue. 2. With that in mind it comes down to the somewhat arbitrary and certainly subjective line on how comfortable you are with a certain arc wraps up when an over arching (lol) arc is still unresolved. That is where the Halo 2 example is particularly apt, or really any of either of the trilogies or he’ll even any of the games at all. There’s possibly and maybe even probably a world where Halo 2-3 were a single game. It didn’t turn out that way, but it doesn’t make 2’s conclusion satisfying simply because the game developer decided welp let’s cut it off there - they’ll get the conclusion in the next one. That’s what I’m trying to get at - most people were annoyed at the ending but they more than likely in retrospect wouldn’t have been like “well I’m not buying halo 2 until 3 is out because it’s not the full game,” which is essentially the stance you have taken with 7R. Now, if a person wants to argue that the arc that concludes in 7R is not good enough for them or they felt cheated or whatever else, I wouldn’t quibble with that. But I think not buying it SOLELY on the premise that you’ve suggested is a mistake, especially when again, that first part I talked about looms large.
  8. There’s a source on Twitter who says wind Waker and TP are 100 percent coming this year. He was spot on on another game that turned out to be true, though I don’t remember what. Here you go:
  9. How difficult were these games, really? That was a time when almost every game had zero difficulty at all, so I could never quite gauge what these were like...
  10. Octopath was such a tease for me. Incredible for 10 hours ish but then falls off a cliff when you realize how shallow it kind of is. I hope this turns out better.
  11. My bad, I didn’t realize the person I was talking to changed lol.
  12. I literally expressed surprise and you are telling me I am wrong.
  13. It's literally like 50 of the most recognizable characters in Nintendo history, 20 copies of them like "Dark Samus," and then a few obscure ones. The obscure ones are by far and away the odd men out, and there's already a Xenoblade character or two in there prior to today. I was personally surprised they added more. But I see now what a fool I was. I do not care if anyone is mad at me or not, I just feel I have explained why I was personally surprised and you keep sub-posting like "how can anyone be confused by this?" It's tiresome.
  14. My god. I take back all of my genuine surprise that two more characters were added from Xenoblade, and will refrain from further discussion on the matter. Apologies.
  15. Didn't really take a stance, was just surprised is all. Also I just gleaned the roster and there is maybe two characters I don't recognize other than the Xeno characters. They may be weird pulls, but they are largely recognizable overall. I would have had zero clue who any of the Xeno kids were though.
  16. Looking at sales numbers it’s fairly pedestrian though at best. 2 is the best selling game and it’s like 2 million worldwide. Just doesn’t scream hey let’s get a bunch more of these beloved characters in here.
  17. I think I’d like them actually they’re just too long for me to commit to in good faith.
  18. I actually had no idea they owned monolith. That makes a lot more sense.
  19. Online smash is an abomination but I still enjoy it locally, or I did before the plague. I have nothing against the Xeno games it just seems odd that they are expanding on what to me seems like a very obscure choice other than I assume they have a close partnership with Nintendo.
  20. Do people like Xenoblade that much or does Nintendo owe them a bunch of favors?
  21. They just know how to piss me off. Skyward Sword instead of Wind Waker. I just don’t get it.
