Every so often I look at the Vita and strongly consider purchasing one. It'd just be nice to have a bunch of PS1 RPGs on the go. -
Nintendo Could Nintendo be working on an N64 classic?

I’m sure they’ll do a 64. Not sure if they’ll go beyond that for a while though. -

Also I get some of the 3D games that were precursors to modern action games not holding up well for people. But a lot of these will be games like FF7 / SOTN where that’s not really an issue, or games that, at least for me, were so iconic they hold up anyway, like RE games or MGS. It’s like a certainty that whenever this era of games are brought up you’re gonna have like 10 people chirp about how the games don’t hold up, and I guess maybe that’s true for the majority, but I actually play this era’s games fairly often and still love them. That said i doubt ill need to get this because I can so easily play all of these now lol. -

Nintendo No more free rides: Paid Switch Online service launches on Sept. 18

There is something to the extremely fragile screen (hell, my wife scratched mine in the first month lol). But kids are perfectly capable of handling it, and it’s a good learning experience if they break it. -

This is absurd. I’m not calling it a child’s toy. It’s a video game console that costs $300, same as an NES, SNES, 64, cube, Wii, whatever the fuck (minor cost differences aside). If you didn’t let your kids play with those, at least you’re consistent. But it’s just as much for kids as it is adults. I was over at some friends’ house last weekend and their 7 year old played Fortnite all night and the Switch wasn’t crumbled into bits by the end. If you don’t trust your kids with it, maybe that’s not their fault... -
General Gaming Kotaku: NBA 2k19 is pay to win, basically (...again)
Paperclyp replied to crispy4000's topic in The Spawn Point
That is the most myopic way to look at it. Teams that contend typically do go over the cap if they want to maximize their window, but the most consistent teams in the league get there through either great drafts (warriors), shrewd font office deals (rockets), or a combination of both (Celtics, Spurs). You can’t spend to win. The system doesn’t work that way, and the players have too much power on where they wanna play. It would be a lot more accurate to say players collude to win rather than pay to win. -

That actually makes no sense. -
Did they change it? Because: After my Nintendo Switch Online subscription expires, will my Save Data Cloud files and Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online save data be erased? Save data stored with Save Data Cloud cannot be kept outside of the duration of your Nintendo Switch Online membership. Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online also uses the Save Data Cloud, so the same applies. However, if you keep the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online save data saved locally on your Nintendo Switch console, then you can use it again if you purchase another membership.
