better tweet, not perfect, but he's far too online to be governor

"Landlords are intentionally keeping units vacant en masse" is both incredibly stupid and just as unfounded as "ban foreign investors and you'll solve the housing crisis!"

lmao what a joke. Stick to the House of Delegates dude

Like, none of it makes sense. If you have zero vacancies nobody can move. On the other end of it if there's truly a glut of vacancies then how are developers still able to sell what they build?

lee liked this and I'm pretty sure this is a misreading of the data. I can't find the 2014 ACS data but the census bureau has Tables 10&11 here which show that housing units classified as other but are "temporarily occupied for other reasons" so if this tracks lmao

Lee decided he wants to go for round 2.

Maybe we should subsidize rural grocers and invest in hiking, biking, horse, and atv transport for rural areas instead of propping up the car industry

Right.  Making it easier for cars to supplement urban planning holes isn't a solution. It's almost an anti-solution.

Really the whole thing smells like him taking advice from "local" "leaders" who are actually just car dealership owners.
