Looking at this list of games the thing that stands out is how badly can the other team woop the crappy team they are facing. But maybe there will be a good game in there.

The thread title is referring to that face mask David Njoku wore that looks straight out of a comic book.

I would probably give Falcons the edge here. Falcons have beat better teams, Commanders have beat the worst teams yet still lost to the bears. But who knows? 🤷‍♀️

It's what we do.  We were also the first team Detroit finally beat after their 0-16 2008 season.  We're streak busters.

Honestly I wouldn’t give the Falcons the edge on anybody lol

The refs in this Brown/SF game are having a day and it still the first quarter, constant penalties pretty much on both teams, called a penalty on the wrong team, just appeared to royally screw up a measurement that looked like a first down, only to pick the ball back up and say it wasn't, and on review the spot was horrifically wrong, lol.

SF missing the game winning FG was the perfect ending to that game, like 30 penalties called, Deebo and CMC left early, rain made both offenses suck, just a complete shit show, lol.

The worst part about SF losing today is all the people saying they wanted to see how Purdy responds to adversity, he stunk all game, then puts together a good drive hitting passes like we know he can, to get them into FG range, and not just on the edge of his range or anything, and the kicker misses, lol.

It happens. 49er's going to be just fine.

Our play calling was weak in the 2nd half. I really thought we were gonna let all come back there. Gg man. Now we can be friends again.

Your play calling was weak? Did you see Coach Smiths? And Ridder is horrible. At least you have a serviceable quarterback and a stout front 7.

The pass interference call that set up the final play was less of a pass interference call than the no call on the final play of the game. :silly:

Giants have a right to be pissed about that, but they shouldn’t have putzed around at the end of the first half. If they hadn’t wasted time then and gotten a field goal…
