Artemis II: Return to the Moon | Crew for first return mission to the moon is announced (orbital mission)

The crew for the Artemis II mission has been announced. This mission will be the first to return humans to the lunar system since 1972. Similar to Apollo 8, this mission will only orbit the moon in order to test the new systems. The crew:

As powerful as it is, the SLS rocket isn't powerful enough to get enough payload (fuel, lander, and humans) to the surface of the moon, let alone get them back into lunar orbit.  That's why the lander (Starship) has to meet the astronauts in lunar orbit for the Artemis 3 mission in a few years.
