Brian
I’m sure this will be a smooth transition for EA.
Spork3245
FWIW, if you have Gamepass, on PC, you've needed to use the EA app beta for EA games since the integration of EA Access into Gamepass.
Keyser_Soze
I don't think enough people will revolt on this one like they did with Battlenet when they changed the name and changed it back
Greatoneshere
Glad I just finished Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Steam because when you play through Steam it then auto-logs you into EA Origin before loading the game. So Steam, unlike Game Pass, doesn't seem to have integrated EA app yet.

I’m playing Andromeda using Steam and it’s the same thing, I’m curious if this will just switch over or what.
CitizenVectron
They'll rename it to Electronic Arts+ in a few months, I'm sure. Then, Electronic Arts Presents: The Electronic Arts+ App for Windows
Derek
I know I probably spent a couple hundred bucks through Origin on games. I haven't logged into that in probably 4 or 5 years.
Commissar SFLUFAN
The Dead Space Remake will be "native" to Steam - no Origin (or EA App?) log-in will be required: Dead Space remake will be 'native' on Steam, no Origin client required | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM It doesn't look like the decision is part of a bigger change of strategy at EA, though.
Dre801
Please update all my EA games I have on Steam to strip out Origin. Wishful thinking, I know.
Keyser_Soze
Meanwhile sneaky Epic has been sliding their shit into games on Steam (Like Tomb Raider)
