I don't even disagree with their core values but fuck do I like seeing fuckers get got cuz I'm a drama frog. https://www.reddit.com/r/WorkReform/ is the new antiwork. What was once legitmate issues with working conditions and compensation became some weird call to communist revolution and actually not working at all. It was bound to end up like this. I think people are more upset that they picked somebody who doesn't really represent what the subreddit was about at this point. There's nothing wrong with being a dog walker but somebody that worked long hours in a position that required education or training and is still struggling to make ends meet would have been more representative of actual things people were upset about on that sub. But instead somebody who couldn't be bothered to straighten up their room even for the sake of appearances unilaterally decided to make themselves the spokesperson for a sub with over a million subscribers.
