I didn’t buy the system right away, but a friend of my brother brought the system and Halo over for them to play. Watched them play, allowed me to try(loved it) and then I got to play the XB Connect multiplayer. (Before Xbox live was a thing) I think I was doing ok work wise and went and bought my system shortly afterwards. Out of the 4 system releases, I have only done a pre-order for the XBox One

I remember pre ordering the PS2 from Funcoland but my order was cancelled due to shortages. So then when the Xbox was being released I pre ordered that and was able to get one day one. I remember playing Halo CE with my friend all night long. My Xbox 20th Anniversary controllers should be arriving today. Happy Birthday Xbox and all the great memories.
