Just finished episode 4. The “and…here…we…go” gif never had a more appropriate situation.

Finished it last night, Hamish Linklater is so good in this. What stood out to me was how much of the series was just two characters in a room doing a scene study with each other and it almost always worked.

This is my next show to watch. My brother liked it a lot.

I'm about halfway through. I'm liking it a lot. I love all the characters. I do imagine it hits harder if you're someone who grew up religious, but it's so well acted.

I grew up in a fairly strict Catholic environment, but never really bought into it. Several of those long dialog scenes feel like they could have ripped right out of my life. Well, the scenes in this show were better written and performed, and the people generally more beautiful, but you know what I mean.

Yeah this is one of those shows that reminds me that not everyone grew up Catholic. I obviously KNOW that but sometimes I forget that people would never have seen "behind the scenes" at a Catholic mass, or seen a Catholic mass at all.

I went to one Catholic wedding that that has been the entirety of my experience. 

Well, I do work for a Catholic hospital, but I still don’t actually see much of it.

I've only watched the first two episodes so far but I'm quite intrigued. I've heard it get pretty wild once.

I grew up Episcopalian(catholic without the guilt) and those depictions of a church service in the first few episodes are the most accurate I’ve ever seen on screen.
