    More Tony Hawks...weirdly after using the D-Pad for most of the first game and being...OK, I tried using the analogue stick and was so much more fluid with the game. I used to play THPS on the GC with the analogue stick and it feels like I’ve rediscovered an old friend now I feel better at the game.

    During my honeymoon, we went to Italy and went on a pasta making course. A lovely man called Michele showed us how to make fresh ricotta ravioli with a burnt butter, sage and garlic sauce. Also love a carbonara.

    I’m all for this. I’m still plodding through RE4 but my wife finds it boring to watch, so that’s a bit as and when. I’ll have a look and see what might be good as we both love scary games - maybe Alien Isolation might be a good one, or Outlast...

    With a tired little girl on my chest I completed two chapters of RE4. On to Chapter 5!and the end game is starting to come into view. I’ve also played some more of Tony Hawks 1&2 but I’m pretty terrible at it.

    I mean that’s great, but it kind of shows that Konami are done with the franchise bar ringing the sponge for a bit more money.

    I still feel sad that I knocked a cup of tea into my 3DS killing it in the process. I played most of the titles I wanted to, but would still love to try out: Fire emblem Samus Returns Monster Hunter on reflection not a massive list...

    Paying about $90 dollars more for the privilege of living in the UK. Either way, we’ll be picking one up next summer during some kind of sale.

    Thank you everyone. It’s been an interesting, sometimes tiring week (especially with work). Looking forward to my first solo looking after on Saturday where I’m hoping to finish a few chapters of RE4 between a load of cuddles and introducing her to the magic of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator

    Like most things from Ubisoft (in their current iteration), it looks like a popular game with the heart ripped out of it.

    My copy arrived, played for about 10 minutes and I am not as good at THPS as I was in about...2005 (when I was a God at 3 and could clear the main story in about 25 minutes). It looks and plays really well however and I'll definitely be putting some time into it...when I can. Although my wife is currently in hospital and my employer has arranged for me to not be in today and tomorrow...so if I get all my work done and I have time to kill.

    That and being a teacher now, I'm pretty sure I'll manage to get the game installed and updated...then I'll enjoy it around Christmas time.

    Just found that the a nationwide, second hand store (CEX) had this in for £5 less than RRP. After trading in Eternal Darkness and Killer 7 I also happened to have a £33 voucher, so just bought this for a massive £3.95. Hopefully it'll be here soon and can be the perfect way of spending 20-30 minutes after a busy day, in-between baby sleeps.

    Up to Chapter 4:1 on RE4. It’s such a fun game that just becomes more entertaining as you improve your weapon set. In the flip side, my wife hates it and think it looks dreadful (which apart from the character models, it does). I look forward to finishing it for the first time then picking up Tony Hawks and looking at my PS+ library for something else as well.

    This was my one thinking point. It’s a good chance to build a game with the AC traversal, but in a much more streamlined way. I think I have Sands if Time in my cupboard and I might give it a go again at some point.
