  1. Like most, gone are the days I would look through a review. I'll watch the odd video review, mostly to see highlighted positives/negatives of gameplay but round table discussions and impressions are the new metric.
  2. I've stopped eating meat (at least until next March) and there after, will only be when eating out or for a special occasion. I should look at either only drinking organic milk or moving to a replacement soon, though in the UK when it comes to eggs and dairy, we do offer a good quality of life for the animals involved.
  3. In my sorrow, now reading Atonement (we've had it for years, but I've never bothered). So far it's...OK. I also have 12 Years a Slave which I picked up from a charity shop for the princely sum of 50p. I may also buy a few Discworld books on Friday as it's been a while and Mort will be good.
  4. They’re on a life path which means they’re perpetually shit on from a great height.
  5. May pick up South Park and my heart wants Silent Hill to play for two hours and forget about. I really need a good indie sale as I’m burned out on long experiences right now and would love a great, 5 hour experience.
  6. In that case, fuck. Looks like I’ll move on to something else entirely then. Fuck.
  7. Tweaking to read the third ‘Kingkiller’ book, but I didn’t do the smart thing a buy it as I came near the end of the second. I’ve got the Understudy by David Nichols, so I’ll read that as it’ll be funny or worth a go.
  8. Lesson Planning Aims and Objectives. It's not been the most interesting 2 hours of my life reaching this point. My only saving grace is the expected time for the TEFL module I'm on is 8 hours, I'm at 3 hours or so now and on part 3/4, so hopefully it means it'll be over with sooner rather than later. But yeah, the importance of objectives being used to identify aims of a lesson
  9. Whelp, looks like I'm getting a month subscription as I own neither of these games.
  10. I think arguing that there is no evidence or study of the drug is a valid reason for not making use of it. Considering how little money the NHS has at the moment, i can appreciate that whilst some decisions are very hard to make, they would need to focus on what they know will work, without future detriment to patient health. "But without a better idea of the longterm impact of the drug on patients, some of whom face a death sentence at the age of 2, it wasn’t possible to conclude that the price was justified."
  11. 168 hours of grammar, lesson planning and assignments. But this isn't about that. Has anyone else ever studied/completed qualifications in their own time? Was it to further your career, a requirement or just something you wanted to do?
  12. If you can be bothered, it’s pretty easy. I found with food like that, it’s not the making but the extras cleaning that put a stop to it.
  13. I’ve still got Onimusha 2 on my PS2 unplayed past the intro. I like the idea of it, but is it a product of its time at this point (without an overall, but the is that not something Sont or From have already done?)
  14. Yep. Full fat as I’m also full fat
  15. I’ve posted this sentiment almost identically in previous threads. I love the idea of a FromSoftware game, but just can’t stomach the actual playing. I’m fine with a game being tough, but a level of tough where I know I’ll triumph within a few attempts. Although satisfying, I nearly broke my PS3 fighting the Capra Dempn in DS1. I don’t need that kind of pain in my life.
  16. I’m isually suffering on either hips or calf. Both horrendous to roll
  17. I literally hate my foam roller bar unkinking knots in my back
  18. On what seems to be a day time drinking session, so far a selection of lager, IPAs and bitters. The most current, sour beer called Dizzy Blonde
  19. Played anything good recently? I’m working my way through the Witcher 3, knowing we also have God of War whilst wanting to buy Pyre and Undertale.
  20. Like most shows, it became less about the premise and more a parody of the characters. Like most things, it should die before a sixth season.
  21. I think it takes exactly three episodes to decide if you’ll be a fan. Then enjoy the fact it just continues to get better.
