I love Doom 16 but I haven’t been to keep my attention on it long enough to finish the campaign. It’s been my go to when I get tired of whatever big long game I’ve been playing lately. It’s the perfect chance of pace game.

I noticed that as well. I noticed very similar slowdown during parts of The Dragon Prince. I thought it was stylistic but seeing almost the exact same thing in that episode of Castlevania maybe it’s a Netflix issue?

Probably just the same people who can't figure out the story to Infinity War also bought this game and now can't figure out the controls.

Looks good to me ??‍♂️ Does he have the cat eyes in the book? Assuming those will be added in later if so. That will go a long way to competing the look.

Same. I was gonna play more today but just couldn’t bring myself to pick up the controller. I watched 3 episodes of Castlevania S2 instead. It was awesome. I made the right choice.

I’ll say with the recommended control changes and starting over with a better idea of what the game is supposed to be...it’s better. I still think the 1st chapter sucks. But it was a bit better. Gonna play a bunch of chapter 2 tonight. I did fall down a hill in chapter 1 with my horse. It was all snow so we just kept sliding and then slammed into a rock at the bottom and I went flying. That made me laugh. The animations in this real really are incredibly detailed(if not unnecessary a lot of the time).

Kids are gonna be shits no matter what. I remember this POS kid used to kill an Indian kid in my school “slumdog”. Kids are just going to revert to anyone/thing that resembles their target. To say that’s Apu’s fault is dumb.

What does the dead zone do exactly? I was reading through all the options you can change last night and didn't really understand what this actually does.

It was a very pretty lake out in the woods. I’ll give it that. I also found some mountain that I slid down like a water slide. That was kinda fun.

In regards to your spoiler. I agree. I don’t hate it but it does feel jarringly out of place sometimes.

Had an hour to play tonight. Spend 45 min riding around talking. 13 min tracking a line on the ground. 30 seconds getting mauled by a legendary bear but somehow killed it by mashing B while it was killing me. And 1 min 30 seconds watching an unecessarily long skinning animation. Good stuff is coming right?

It can be. Also literally not one person has just posted “x/10” and nothing else. This entire thread is full of opinions and evaluations both good and bad and I’d say almost all of them are pretty well thought out. So chill.
