My plot set up is perfect for this!

They should actually do a Zelda where you finally play as Zelda (cdi doesn’t count) and the plot is that she is pregnant with Ganon and if she gives birth to him he will destroy the world but the laws of Hyrule don’t allow abortion so she has to escape to a far away land where doctors will assist her in aborting little baby Ganon.

I tried it and it was playable at 30fps low settings when it launched with drops in the usual cpu areas Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, but they might have ironed those out by now. Peoples devices seem to be dying like crazy on this board :O

To me the underworld disqualifies the dlc argument right off the bat. Once I learned about that then I was over this dlc idea. They provided enough new exploration content for a new game, it’s just they also used the explorable land from the last game and repurposed it for even more content, and then added more on top with the sky islands. And then revamped like all of the mechanics and how playing the game works and made everything way more dense and populated. And upped the game for story content. It’s a sequel and also an example of how to make a good sequel.

To be clear, I never trust/bother with those upscale thingys. If a resolution is so low you’d consider getting those, it might look better but it’s not going to give you what you really want. Im playing on pc so it’s actual 4k native/60fps with hdr. You also get increased shadow resolution, 16x AF for sharper textures and other fun stuff! Combined with this really pushing the Switch as far as it can go and you got the first time I’ve been impressed with how a Nintendo game looks on a tv since Gamecube!

Definitely feels like a sequel playing this at 4k/60/hdr - feels like a proper gen upgrade!

Im super early on but just now I was invaliding this goblin camp and as i approach them some robots come in and decide to fight them (and me) as well and then barrels start exploding and knocking over buildings and pretty much it all went haywire and nothing was left of the camp when the battle was over it was awesome.
