The difference between a 3080 and 3090 is barely 10% at 4k, if you get something like a 3080 FTW Ultra that’s pre-OCed, now it’s ~5%. They really don’t have any space to make a 3080 Ti be “in between”, except VRAM and cuda cores; performance will really have to match the 3090 to justify the expected $300 over the 3080.

Season 2 is about 10000x better than S1. They must’ve gotten a huge increase in their budget. I just got to S2 E4 and Give it a shot! (Also, while still dark, def not AS dark) -
General Gaming What tv do you use for gaming?

It supposedly makes a huge difference in AC Valhalla as the game reportedly is only “mostly” locked to 60fps. However, I’m talking about “long-term” anyway -

You absolutely cannot grasp it from a YouTube video. It would be like trying to understand the benefit of HDR on an SDR TV via an offscreen recording of a TV displaying HDR. When AC Odysee bounces from 45-55 fps on my GSYNC monitor, it’s unnoticeable and stays smooth the entire time. If I didn’t have an fps counter in the corner, I would have no idea the framerate even changed. Going from VRR to non-VRR is kinda jarring now.
