  1. I'd go with the Odyssey. It's the same as that 49" Super Ultrawide Micro LED one that they make, but 4k and 16:9, iirc. Double check reviews on it, though. Viewsonic also just put one out: ViewSonic XG321UG 32" 4K 144Hz Mini LED G-Sync Ultimate Gaming Monitor - ViewSonic Global WWW.VIEWSONIC.COM Experience a new level of visual performance and upgrade your gameplay on the XG321UG, featuring Mini LED technology that redefines expectations. Engineered with a pixel dense 4K Ultra HD resolution that renders every detail with incredible brightness on... I have a PG27UQ, and I love it, but would like a 32" micro led over this traditional led. IIRC, the Samsung ones are not GSync Ultimate, so they have HDMI 2.1 (hence the higher refresh rate of 165hz), so you def want to double check reviews to make sure it's "true HDR" and that it supports GSync properly without flickering.
  2. Worth noting too, anything spec'd as "GSync Ultimate" has to meet a standard which includes full (and proper) HDR 1000 (or higher) support. However, the downside is that they are DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, as nVidia has yet to update the GSync Ultimate spec to include HDMI 2.1, which is dumb AF. So, you'd be limited to "only" 120hz with 8bpc color depth, 98hz with 10bpc, or 82hz with 12bpc (HDMI 2.1 can do 120hz with 12bpc)... but, games are typically coded with 8bpc for HDR anyway, so, you're prob not going to notice a difference tbh. This is over DP 1.4, btw, HDMI 2.0 is more limited.
  3. Jay couldn't fit the ASUS card into a Lian Li mid-case.
  4. FWIW, if you have Gamepass, on PC, you've needed to use the EA app beta for EA games since the integration of EA Access into Gamepass.
  5. The nForce was such a good mobo for the time. Wonder why nVidia bailed on mobos.
  6. They purposely stated that they're not doing this in prime time. The previous 1pm one had a higher amount of viewers and was shown on Fox News, where as prime-time ones Fox refuses to show.
  7. I saw Newt Gingrich defending Walker for "being the way he is" due to concussions... Like... Newt... he's running for Senate and your argument in favor of him is that he has brain damage.
  8. Just make sure the monitor is HDR 1000 or higher and you should be good to go. The Micro LED ones from both ASUS and Samsung are the way to go.
  9. This explains why Tesla stock has been dumping so hard all week while other tech has been bouncing: Musk is likely liquidating more of his shares for cash.
  10. I really think all manufacturers should include a GPU support bracket for the 4090. I believe ASUS includes theirs. For the 3090 Ti, EVGA included their “e-leash”, which works as a “hanger” you attach to the top of your case and then attach to the GPU.
  11. Razer Core X Aluminum External GPU Enclosure (eGPU): Compatible with Windows & MacOS Thunderbolt 3 Laptops, NVIDIA /AMD PCIe Support, 650W PSU, Classic Black Sorry! Something went wrong! A.CO
  12. They disagree with actual numbers? Weird. RT, at “medium”, is providing playable fps in most games at 1080p with it… sooo… Resizeable BAR has been available for almost 4 years from Intel, and 6 years from AMD (400 series motherboards running a Ryzen 3000 series and up). If you’re running something older, sure, this card isn’t for you.
  13. I don’t think the 6600xt was the best card to pick as an alternative, btw.
  14. How does a 6600xt compete with a 3060 Ti with DLSS turned on?
  15. Price. The $329-350 A770 goes toe-to-toe with the $450-500 3060 Ti.
  16. No, he’s into M&Ms. He was very upset about the green one losing, to quote Carlson, “her sexy boots”.
  17. The focus was more on the main characters realization of the horror of war and that the US government has been lying about “Vietnam going well”. And it somehow keeps a semi-light tone through most of the movie while doing this.
  18. It’s essentially a war movie without being a “true” war movie. The real life events this one is based on are very interesting.
  19. Came out yesterday. Just watched it. Movie is actually fantastic.
  20. His podcast is filled with good faith discussion where he asks genuine questions, gets corrected, and is happy to be wrong and learn. Just like when he’d have high profile guests on TDS. 90% of the time he preempts statements with “I’m an idiot and have no idea what I’m talking about”. So, I definitely don’t get or agree with that assessment either. The times when he’s “smug” tends to be when he’s calling out senators on things like the PACT act.
