I’m actually not sure why the ad-supported plan is getting so much hate. Other streaming services, even Hulu, have had a version of this since their inception. It’s not like they’re adding advertisements into the current plan or putting this at the current ad-free price to jack that price up or whatever. That being said, the streaming quality being limited to 720p is pretty garbage. At least do full HD.

I think the difference is that in this case it’s just drive by one sentence talking points with no substance. It’s not even a quality trolling attempt, it’s just a “haha, u mad?” type of thing. At least the others attempted to engage, regardless of doing it to be contrarian or rile certain people up. Then let’s discuss things and not make snippy comments with no intention of engaging. Many times on this forum I’ve seen minds/opinions get changed from discussions; they are not pointless to have if you are discussing in good faith.

FWIW I don't think my fps ever drops below 75-80fps in Metro Exodus EE (with all ray tracing set to ultra and DLSS set to balanced) at 4k, so it's not like it's a game my 3080 Ti struggles with despite it being one of the best looking games out there with everything ray-traced (shadows, reflections, light sources + even global illumination), but, it'd be nice to have an easy comparison for when my 4090 arrives on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The latest driver update is interesting to say the least: TESTED: NVIDIA GeForce Driver Update Promises A Major Performance Lift For DX12 Gaming HOTHARDWARE.COM Right on cue, NVIDIA has issued an updated GPU driver release to officially support its beastly new flagship graphics card, the GeForce RTX 4090. That's not all, though. It’s a shame that site only does 1080p and 1440p for the benches, but the performance gain of these drivers is kinda astounding.
