That she won isn't impressive; it's darts. I mean...the news is that it took them until last year to even allow women to attempt to qualify for the tournament. That's insane.

It's neat how the eye works; I don't get that at all.

Manet and Monet. They were acquainted and I think clearly took inspiration from each other. As Manet moved further away from realism into impressionism their styles seemed to blend. Monet was more of a pure impressionist while Manet kind of rode the line between realism and impressionism, but with some of their later works it's tough for an amateur eye to tell the difference between them unless you know about a given piece beforehand.
