General Entertainment Best uhd movies to show off 4k and HDR?
Rodimus replied to Spork3245's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
So I have been looking into UHD BLu-rays and many 4k Blu-rays are upscaled to 4k. BUt the HDR is real. I found a site that says wether they are real or Fake 4k. http://realorfake4k.com -

General Gaming What is your favorite videogame home console ever?
Rodimus replied to Remarkableriots's topic in The Spawn Point
Ok, Now that I have read through the thread. I will Say NES is a great console but the arcade conversions where crap and don't age well. I say this as someone that played the arcade versions and was disappointed at many attempts. TMNT2 on NES was trash on the NES compared to the Arcade counterpart and I played the hell out of the arcade version. DoubleDragon on the NES was also not great on the NES as it took away co-op and not great. However Contra was a great NES port as was Donkey Kong on the NES. Also many of these arcade releases got released later in compilations or as downloadable games on consoles. The SNES and Genesis started to get more faithful arcade ports. Then PlayStation and Saturn got nearly perfect arcade ports. For Example I would play Street Fighter 2 on Saturn before I would play it on SNES. -
General Gaming What is your favorite videogame home console ever?

This is a tough one. I would say SNES gun to my head. I had one growning up and I still play same one today. Runner up would be PSX. However I would say going back I'm having more fun discovoring games on the TurboDuo (TG16) and Sega Saturn. Although they are not easy or cheap to collect for. I had both the Genesis/SegaCD and SNES at the same time and I would give SNES the node. Although the Genesis does what Nintendon't. -
Nice Neo Geo games! A good friend of mine just gave me my first arcade PCB.an Atomiswave. He let me barrow Rumble Fish. I just need a super gun and a way to control the games. Any suggestions?

That is crappy but I read they revision PSVR that has ben out solved this issue. Too bad I have the older version. I'm not surprised about the One X not passing through 4k. I have an AV reciver that is a couple years old and it has 4k passthrough but doesn't support copy protected 4k and HDR as well.

Well when did MySpace exsist. I get it we all hated Jar Jar and how racist a charactor he was. However the charactor was cg the whole time in the movie and his live action performances where painted out. I'm glad he didn't kill himself many other actors have killed themselves over as much or less. An example of one is Jonathan Brandis in 2003.

I need a 1X or a Pro but so far I have been watching 4k HDR video capture on youtube. GT Sport looks amazing. Horizon and God of War looks great. Witcher 3 looks nice. Oh Gears has a cool HDR feature to split the screen and have it do its own HDR comparison. Also Shadow of Colossus looks incredible and HDR pops with the lighting.

Thanks @Littleronin For those that didn't here is the Phantom. This console never happened and offered similar deal. Here is the Retro VGS and Coleco Chameleon. Real smoke and mirrors and fake.

General Gaming Shenmue I & II Release Date Revealed (Aug 21)
Rodimus replied to SaysWho?'s topic in The Spawn Point
I have still flirted with the idea of importing Shenmue 2 from the UK. This HD release might lower prices or I might just play them. -
Sony PSN Mid-Year sale is live (859 items on sale)
Rodimus replied to SaysWho?'s topic in The Spawn Point
Those are some good deals. I think I'm going to pickup Alienation. -
I hope no one here gave money to this Indiegogo campaign. The Atari VCS is looking like a scam. Maybe more like the Coleco Chameleon. This is all looks no substance. They don't have a working prototype and the hardware has not been nailed down. The video they show of the console are faked and not running on the hardware at all. I get it nice looking hardware but that is all there is today. It is an expensive Uya at best.

Most of mine are that way. There is always another game to pick up it seems. @CastlevaniaNut18 thanks for sharing your Castlevania collection. It reminds me of what I'm missing.
