While I have both I choose PS4 over Switch for these reasons and often look for physical copies. Unranked List of reasons As for Physical copies a Blu-ray Disc is more compatible say with computers and in general. PS4 has more raw power.Also I have a Pro so it can often run in higher resolutions than Switch. Many Switch games are often downgrades. I don't play portable as much on Switch. Even if the performance is equal I pick PS4. Better chance of BC in the future. Better online I can actually chat with a friend while playing or better yet invite them to play. Share-play is great. I use it on many couch co-op type games where I can't convince friends to buy games but they can play games with me that I buy. I have more controllers.

I also don't understand the complete set mindset for the most part with few exceptions. I also buy games I think I will like. About half or so are games I have played in the past back then and the others are games I'm new to experiencing. I can be a sucker for a remaster. I agree that game collecting alone is not unhealthy. Completionism can be. Also if it starts to negatively impact your life and others around you.

I'm still waiting for days gone to get very cheap. I will still be picking up and playing PS4 games next year.

If a game is on PS4 and Switch I get the PS4 version. Rarely have I double dipped. I might if there was a big digital sale and physical copy on PS4.

I can't wait to play the first one on the Switch.

yeah the VR mission on Battlefront is great. A real shame EA had no confidence in doing any in Battlefront 2. I would have picked it up if it had.

I don't like the Special Editions. I really like the despecialized editions and 4k77 and 4k83 are cleaned up 4k transfers from the multiple film copies of the originals. the 4k80 project is still on going and it might be a year or so.

I love my PSVR. I first had it with a Base and later got a pro. no real big difference. I am still behind on picking up PSVR games. I really like Polybius and Superhot. I'm a huge REZ fan and REZ in VR is great. I wish more on rails shooters got a VR release. Like the new Panzer Dragoon game.

I think it is a very bad idea if either Sony or Microsoft launches with more than one box. Also I wouldn't pay a little less for less features.

The Amico is going to be a huge failure. I don't recommend pre-ordering it at all. I'm sorry but that IP is so old people in their mid 40s and 50s would have any nostalgia. Also they are selling this as a family gaming but those parents will have older kids in their 20s and such.
