The longer it is aged, in general, the better it is. Most stuff that is aged that is aged less than 12-years should probably used with a mixer.

Whiskey tastes much better when it's old (aged in a barrel). The brand is less important.

If you have the option to return it, I probably would. If it's uncomfortable to hold, it's probably not right for you. -
Going from 30 to 40 reduces the gap between frames by 8ms, going from 60 to 120 is about the same.

Asylum seekers need to seek asylum at the first safe haven they enter. They get turned away entering Canada at a "regular border crossing" and sent back to the US. However, at "irregeular border crossings" (i.e. you walk across the border), the treaty does not allow them to be turned around. 40,000 asylum seekers crossed the border at Roxham Road from the US into Canada last year.

I use Valentina's when I am having Tex-Mex. I use Frank's on pizza, eggs and wings. I use Siracha on fried rice and mashed potatoes.

I am not criticizing gaming laptops. I am merely saying they have a different usecase than Steam Decks. There is some overlap, but since this is the Steam Deck thread, you'll probably find that many of the posters here have found that the Steam Deck fits a niche for them, that they don't feel a gaming laptop does. -

There is a "State of the Studio" panel at Adepticon on Sunday. I would expect it to be mostly focused on Marvel CP and Shatterpoint, but they may show the rest of the starter packs -- and potentially some of the reprints they announced last year. -

I just don't feel that RTS games and turn-based strategy games are very similar in gameplay. RTS as a genre, IMHO, kinda disappeared in recent decades outside of MOBAs, base-building focused games and large scale war sims. To me, gameplay wise, it looks closer to something like Shadow Tactics (but non-stealth based) or The Ascent (changing to a squad based control, rather than 1-player direct control). (Or if you want to get old school, the Warcraft II levels that didn't involve building.) I never finished an XCom game, but the 10 or so hours I played were very focused on tactical positioning, and very small levels with defined objectives. I didn't get the sense from that trailer that this would be a thing here.

I really hope this one is good. I don't understand the comparison to X-Com beyond an extremely superficial level, based on the video, it looks completely different.

General Gaming What are you playing today?

I was going down the rabbit hole of what a basic sim steering wheel combo was going to cost: $1,000 for the Wheel/Pedals/DD Wheel Base (I was looking at a Fanatec DD CSL 8NM, McLaren GT Wheel, CSL Elite v2 pedals) $800-$1,200 for the Frame $200 for a sim seat And that was for some of the cheaper stuff. Decided I was out at that point.... -
Different priorities then.

I have more devices in my house that can stream video than I have people. (Not including tablets and phones. ) Doesn’t having one in your bedroom just interfere with sleeping and sex?
