Any suggestions for cheaper hearing aids? My mom really needs them because she's lost hearing, but there's no way we could afford what they wanted to charge. I'm just not sure how reliable the ones on Amazon are. I just figured maybe someone here would have some experience with them. She has severely damaged her hearing. They quoted her at least $2,500 after insurance. @Paperclyp I'm 42 going on 43 next month. They said no surgery is needed at least not yet. They want to do EMG and another MRI to make sure on some stuff. They want to make sure my left leg problems aren't a pinched nerve issue. I might need an MRI on my feet due to Diabetes to make sure I don't have problems. I'm not sure on that though until I see my foot specialist mid January. I see my PCP in April and get eye exam setup. I'm going hopefully to PT sometime soon. I have to get it approved again because I waited too long and the 4 sessions expired. I don't know if it's just neuropathy in my left foot still. It always just feels tingling like what happens when your foot goes to sleep. I've lost most of the feeling in my foot. I've got arthritis everywhere. The arthritis in my knee starts hurting a lot the farther I walk so I usually use a cane going out. I do sometimes get needles like pain in my hands and feet. The right foot doesn't bother me as much but the right toe sometimes throbbing pain. I had missed this note before but my Dr. said I have beginning stages of arthritis in my toes. I'm waiting to hear back from two different doctors. One is pain management, and another is for that EMG. I should hear from them within the next two weeks.
