The closest Microcenter to me is 45 minutes away. I was thinking about driving down on the 24th but they aren't exactly helpful on any specifics. I texted them to see what the line was like this morning for 3080s (apparently people were there pretty early) and they just referred me to a generic FAQ. They were completely unhelpful since I just wanted to know if they were even going to get 3090s and if making the drive was worth the effort. I'm not driving down at 4AM. It isn't that important.

About a week late but here I am. It looks bad due to how to press has portrayed this. The 737 Max stuff of course causes the press to look deeper into something they do not entirely understand. Seriously, they barely have an understanding of how aviation works. Every new design has flaws. Until you actually get a huge amount of data points you likely will not find all the issues with a new design. Having a full fleet of aircraft for testing is not economical at all. That is why the FAA has Airworthiness Directives. ADs can be anything from an overhaul of a specific part, procedure change for flight crew, or just a routine inspection. No manufacturer is immune to these problems. For example here is an AD for the Airbus A320 Series of aircraft for their wings. https://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgad.nsf/0/d89947f24ddb126786257db0007325db/$FILE/2014-26-53_Emergency.pdf Here is one for the 787s chief competition the A350. The gear could collapse on landing if the AD is not followed. https://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgad.nsf/0/07e69cb22b2d8e338625852d0057f5e3/$FILE/2020-05-18.pdf Just do a quick search of your favorite aircraft here. Every plane has design flaws. http://www.faa.gov//favicon.png Airworthiness Directives (ADs) – Current Only WWW.FAA.GOV Most of the time, such as with this 787 issue, these problems are found during routine maintenance checks on the aircraft. Ultimately there is risk in everything we do. Aviation does a pretty damn good job at mitigating that risk. US Airlines have only had 1 passenger fatality over the last decade. The system works and is getting better.

Seems a bit late for that. Most of their user-base owns 150+ games at this point -

Funny enough this is the old team from a long long time ago. Not very big at the time. https://stats.foldingathome.org/team/116199 -

I downloaded this last night to run while I sleep and such. There are no WUs available at all. Guess the servers are just getting hammered. -
PC Tech Let's hear about your first gaming PC
Link200 replied to HGLatinBoy's topic in PC/Mac Technical and PCCB
My first "gaming" PC was an Athlon 1 GHz CPU with a GeForce 4 MX440. My first good gaming PC was an Athlon XP 2500+ OCed to 3200+ and a Radeon 9500 Pro. The 9500 Pro is possibly my favorite graphics card. Hit the exact sweet spot for power/performance that I needed. -
I just started the fourth episode. It is a good show so far. However, I can see how the show can cause confusion as they jump back and forth in time without obvious transitions. Many parts feel as if it is happening concurrently when they are jumping around 10+ years at a time. People that have not read the books may have a tougher time following what is happening as a result. Once all the backstory is dealt with I can see the show hitting its stride.

Depending on the state murder can also have different levels with differing requirements. Texas actually does not have a "second degree" of murder and it looks like it needs intent per the 5 minutes of googling I have done. Apparently the jury believed she intended to cause harm hence the murder conviction rather that manslaughter.
