  1. Digitally resurrected Christopher Reeve confirmed.
  2. @sblfilms take the “Tell Kal if his Foundationless Assumption That This Movie Directly Feeds Into a DCEU Reboot” Challenge in spoiler tags.
  3. I wasn't aware that this was a thing outside the sphere of hardcore christians specifically, though in hindsight I suppose it should have been rather obvious.
  4. Stephen Crowder's wife left him so hard that "divorce" was trending on twitter today. And in case you're wondering what the next entry in the Chud Cinematic Universe is going to be, it's no fault divorce, as men like Crowder and his ilk openly bitch about how it's not right that their wives can leave them when the husbands don't want to separate.
  5. Oh yeah, I think existing fans don't particular care about the system used on those channels. I have no idea whether or not them using D&D helps with discovery for new viewers but I also have no idea whether or not that's relevant in of itself.
  6. I've still not played PnP D&D ever, but I think its ruleset occupies a nice spot between the "looser" systems (Powered by the Apocalypse, Blades in the Dark), and something with a ton of crunch like Burning Wheel or Pathfinder. And the large player base makes it a little more easy to find support compared to systems of somewhat similar complexity like FFG's / Edge's narrative system. Ultimately I think what makes stuff like D20 and Critical Role popular is the talent way way way way less so than the system. D&D is really the only RPG system that's got any kind of brand recognition outside of the community of players. I dunno if channels like that have outgrown the need to have that used as a funnel? I imagine that even if it's not a necessity at this point for them, it's still useful.
  7. I cannot imagine a less interesting version of the Xavier Protocols than Fox's opposition files on its cavalcade of mediocrity and implicit bias. And IIRC Chuck's brilliant plan to stop Cyclops was, "make him wear a helmet," so the kryptonite for all these ku klux klowns has basically gotta be, "they will self-incriminate if given airtime."
  8. 20 minute slo mo montage of Barry tenderly moving a hot dog away from Iris in flashtime.
  9. I feel like the second game does a better job of making the strengths and weaknesses of there weapons matter more. You could switch things up in the first, but I remember there being fairly clear min/max options regardless of preferred play style. The second did a better job of mixing that up but I think they were either too stingy with the drops or too demanding with the upgrade amounts. I am pretty sure I did every major side quest line and most of the smaller ones before deciding to beat Forbidden West and I maxed out MAYBE one legendary piece of gear? I can't imagine how long it would have taken to get a full kit or god forbid every weapon / armor.
  10. I think the show generally gets better as the seasons go on and it becomes less of a parody of stuff like Johnny Quest and comes into its own. I do feel like they started to run on fumes a bit in the last season specifically. There's still really great stuff in there but some of it felt more like it was being pushed forward by callbacks. Or maybe it's that I believe it's the season with the least Dr. Orpheus, which is a problem
  11. How much cuck would a Tuck Cuck cuck if a Tuck Cuck could cuck cuck.
  12. I don't know that the OANN / Newsmax pipeline to the online chud cinematic universe is especially strong, which is where Fox has excelled for the last few years. The landscape is changing and I don't know how long cable news is going to be worth the squeeze for Republicans, especially a crazy expensive network like Fox News. Yes Tucker got 3.5 million eyeballs and that puts him right around the average viewership of season 3 of Arrow So SOMETHING is going to have to give at some point. Maybe Tucker was the keystone holding up the arch but I don't know.
