  1. I like that some fan has already been "banned" for using his image space to create a sign that simply said, "Fire Velveteen Dream"
  2. I've never said I wasn't going to watch this, but I've always said it's still gonna be a Snyder film. But at least this trailer make the film look more promising that what we officially got before.
  3. Whichever one he is, it's clear that the first time he used the machine the Jackman that got killed was the one who appeared away from it. But during the performances, it was the clone who stayed in the machine that got dropped into the water tank and killed. So at the very least, the whichever the real Jackman is ended up dead before the end of the movie came about since both types of clones have died at least once (the one away and the one inside).
  4. You also gotta remember that the original Jackman died the first time he used the machine. So the replicants of him that came after were constructions of the original's anger and evilness that the machine kept replicating over and over (possibly with even more anger and evil being replicated in to each body as his clones kept being made). Each Jackman cared less and less about the magic, the people, and his own life as you saw him being solely focused on ruining Bale...
  5. Some interesting stats from Darkhorizons: I think The Prestige is probably my favorite non Bat-verse Nolan film (which aren't his best films by a long show anyways). So, with Tenet being reviewed better I'm actually more excited to see it now.
  6. So if this is supposed to be Flashpoint inspired, is Keaton being recast as Thomas Wayne?
  7. I'm definitely in the minority, but my favorite reviewer is the Cinema Snob. He watches such out-of-left-field nonsense that it's actually educational knowing these titles existed, let alone him actually giving you backstory about who is who and what is what for each flik he watches. I'll still watch stuff from that era of content makers (AVGN, Nol. Critic, Angry Joe, Phelous), but they're shells of their former selves, and I don't actively wait in anticipation of their new stuff. Newer personalities that I like do some movie stuff, but not entirely. Matt McMuscles does great videos about video game movies, but he's mainly a video game video maker. Toy Galaxy is fun - but they mainly do toys. Still, a lot of the videos they make have to deal with the toys that are mainstream movies these days, so how bad could watching a video about a toy be? And lastly, maybe... There's a fun channel on Twitch call Forgotten_VCR that plays three times a week. The streamer literally has thousands of random clips from every kind of VHS tape you can think of, and he makes random mish-mashes and plays those/his hour long tapes he made back to back. It's really fun to see all the weird crap he's found over the years, from all countries, and how he mixes them together. I think he does, like, 4 hours every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
  8. There's probably too much "good" for her to leave than to stay with Vince. Even if she isn't AEW bound, at least she doesn't have to put up with the Covid nonsense WWE put her through when she caught it from their lack of safe practices and how they were punishing her for even Tweeting about it when she was sick. And then that put her husband at risk with his job, and on and on... So, good for her and good riddance to WWE.
  9. Kind of a related/non-related question... How long after the PS5 releases until we see the PS4Pro go down in price? And then once all the previous generation consoles go oop, how long does it usually take until the current gen gets its first price reduction?
  10. Eventually what needs to happen is for a law to be made that prices bullets extremely expensive, like cigarettes are. Then no backwoods retard would fire his M4 off freely towards the sky with the rock music of Whitesnake blaring in the background...
  11. Hopefully they bring actual games back to the franchise and not just have it be an exercise in AI finding humanity through "the force" ...
  12. So does this mean studios are going to be buying out already existing theater chains OR will studios be creating new theaters?
  13. Because ripping off Akira Kurosawa is the smartest thing Hollywood could ever do.
  14. Just finished this week's AEW... Another alternative WWE show instead of it being an alternative to WWE =/
  15. Say what you will about John K. outside of this franchise, but the show originally died because Nickelodeon got rid of him. These 30+ years later, even if CC brings him back on, he's not gonna be the same guy who will bring back that old style of humor. Hell, wasn't he involved with SpikeTV's reboot and it crashed and burned because of the dumb shit he did with the characters?
  16. I had a meeting with a Nobel Laureate today, and I got the chance to flat out ask him, realistically, when will the world will be safe to go back to work. He said, "Safely, two years. Phase-2 clinical trials were rushed to phase-3, and anything that's in phase-3 at the moment are just starting. Each phase takes about a year of trials to be ready for FDA approval. So on top the rushed trials, and then any treatment that's approved that will still need mass production, 2 years is your best bet to be safe." He did say that the best advice he can give is to not be part of the first wave of immunization patients and to wait and see what happens with Germany and Spain with their results first. Results from England and France shouldn't be trusted since they're rushing their trials as well as the US. So this might even take longer than 2 years depending on even knowing how save the treatment ends up being (it might treat Covid, but it might give you dimentia, etc). UCSF is preaching that everyone should definitely get a flu shot this year, just in the name of staying as healthy as possible as a population
  17. 12 more months will give time for a vaccine to be created - then add 6 more months for mass production and rollouts of the drug to the entire country (with variables being availability of vaccination materials, "staff" to administer the drug, the standard 5% of the population who it won't work on who will need to be hospitalized, and the inevitable private companies who are going to try and monetize the drug through their own system).
  18. I wonder if Loeb has ever watched a movie with subtitles, or at least knows that there are multiple Asian races who all have actors that can't kick higher than their waists...
  19. We just had a Town Hall meeting online for California hospital practices, and some interesting facts just came out of it: -Yale has found that women's immune systems are better at staving off and making it through the virus (with both men and women being equally exposed). Men are more susceptible to catching the virus and have a much tougher time getting through it (having both permanent lasting effects and a higher mortality rate because of it). And men with high sex drives are 3x worse in dealing with the virus than men without. -Hospitals want to do racially targeted testing, but are being fought back by local government because of the current protesting climate (mostly in So.Cal). It's been found that latino men are at higher risk for contracting Covid because of the type of work a large portion of them endure, and there's a debate whether traditionally Latino neighborhoods should see more attention being paid to them versus all neighborhoods receiving equal attention. Our governor is thought to be in a deadlock of what to do because So.Cal is protesting (more) violently while Nor.Cal is staying safe with social distancing, and racial targeting might incite further physical protests that will put more people in jeopardy with the virus. -California is seeing a large surge in positive cases because of So.Cal and its "passageway" into the state from other southern states (starting from Florida down through the bible belt). But the governor's office is thinking that if So.Cal is called out for being irresponsible, it will just create worse violence and a worse outbreak. Currently Nor.Cal is trying to set up some guidelines to present to So.Cal for them to follow, but Nor.Cal knows the state is going to fail as a whole because our governor will never be willing to isolate the lower half of California and treat them differently. And with Nevada wanting to open up casinos more-so, the travel path of the virus could connect from Florida to California, and then up north to Reno where it will spread out to middle America. -Right now, at best guess in the current environment, whatever treatment that's made won't be ready for distribution to the entire US populace for at least another 18 months unless major hurdles are dealt with for the US as a whole - complete shutdown of large social gatherings and their buildings (arenas, theaters, hotels, restaurants, etc), a steady stimulus of money to keep people housed/fed/clothed, and guided protesting that keeps everyone separate from each other (policing and leadership that will keep large groups and their activities down to a minimum).
  20. It's odd that DC is kinda forcing this show to stay on the air when fans have voiced that they want that Kingdom Come / Routh Superman character to have his own series since when he was first teased however long ago that was. Is Batwoman somehow integral to the CWuniverse that would be ruined without her? I honestly don't know since I haven't seen it yet...
  21. Hopefully this movie actually has Tron in it and not some cameo/b.s., "That's no moon, it's a space station..." revelation explaining that some loser in a mask was Tron all along =/
  22. Jesus f’n Christ! AEW needs to do something with the world belt for God’s sake! This show is getting so boring for such stupid reasons now. All they know how to do is promote ex-WWE guys as the champs, offer nothing of interest from the NJPW roster who created AEW in the first place (Bucks do nothing, Omega does nothing, etc), and the only guys who are getting title shots against AEW's ex-WWE champion are brand new hires to the company… At least TNA had the X-division back in the day for fans to watch – AEW can’t even get their TNT champion right as we gotta watch Cody bury an already weak roster. Give us an f'n story for once!
