  1. HUGE HUGE PORTAL FAN HERE! Favorite puzzles games easily in my top ten, along with The Witness and Braid. Both games are fantastic and can run on anything nearly. I will be giving these a try for sure. Probably see if they can run on the ALLY first if not i'll download them on my PC!
  2. Finally jumped into Diablo 4. After shelving it 2 hours after installing it at launch! I'm a lvl 55 Barbarian and I gotta say this is the most repetitive AAA title I have EVER played. Everything you do is the same and I know it's Diablo but this is a chore to keep chugging through. How in the hell could this be released after the absolute AMAZING job they did at saving Diablo 3 with the Reaper of Souls Addon/Upgrade?!?! I LOVED playing RoS and yes it was super repetitive as ALL Diablo games are, this just has a different feel, and it's all BAD!. I WANT so bad to LIKE it, I DO! I can not imagine anything that can happen at the end game {LvL 100} all the different types of Rift dungeons [Nephalem?] and the like 12 tiers on torment difficulty levels, easy jump in and out from each of the challenge types there are in D3 The {Special Legendary Gems that can be upgraded for ever!} and also Paragon levels that will never run out always at least uping your character stats, etc, etc. EVERY dammed Boss that you encounter is exactly the same feel. I will say it's stunning to look at and it runs incredible well on the ALLY both plugged in {Yea easy at 30watts turbo mode} & plugged in my 50,000mAH 65watt power bank. Every encounter is just Blahh Blahh, Blahh crap and I'm just really really disappointed! I'm not seeing a Hail Marry like Reaper of Souls was for D3 coming to help this boring ass game. Sorry about the rant, but I really like D3 and this is a HUGE step backwards! This after the incredible Diablo 2 Resurrection release that was an incredible remake of a beloved game with great fixes to things that wouldn't work in todays games. I guess I can just play D2R! Anyways....That's what I'm playing right now. I'm really feeling a tug to eather play Remnant II {Free on GP} of Dying Light 2 that I have had since launch on the 83" LGG3! I actually bought Dying Light 2 before I even had a PS5 lol!
  3. I do like me some HDR and yea it's broken as hell in W10.
  4. I hate changes like operating systems. I really have like W10 and I am constantly harassed by Microsoft to upgrade to W11. I know it's "FREE" and all but I a creature of habit and will have to be forced. Like I said though it's W11 for my next PC build, It's just now on this particular self built PC I'm absolutely fine sticking to W10!
  5. Coming right around the time I will have a new PC built thus forcing me to upgrade to 11 anyways. Only W11 I have is on the ROG Ally.
  6. Test Drive V-Rally WWW.METACRITIC.COM The Ultimate Open Road Racing Championship. 16 officially licensed rally cars with 10 bonus cars. Over 80 new tracks in over 12 different countries exclusively for the Sega Dreamcast. Powerful track editor and generator - create, save and exchange saved tracks you create! Real-Time Damage feature shows visible damage during game play. Man I miss this game so much it was on the Dreamcast and you could build your own tracks and it was rather pretty easy to make them and you could make them really intense and at the time I had never played any racing game like that especially a rally game I missed these days
  7. Huge racing game fan and Dirt 2.0 is by far the best out there. Very Sim heavy. This not the arcade Dirt game out, this is strictly Sim intense amazing with a wheel hold on to your pants racing game. Highly recommend it and it cheap too!
  8. NEW FAVORITE on Ally, but it's an OLD GAME! I gave up on this game on Steam Deck as you have to jump through lots of hoops to get it to run. Installing Protontrixs, etc so I gave up about 6 months ago. I then remembered it and thought it should run at least as it's w11 so I installed it on the Ally. It runs perfectly as it should as its not very taxing I would imagine. This is a really fun game twin stick shooter and I'm glad I gave it another look on the ROG Ally. Check it out if you own it, or buy it maybe if you don't. It's a blast!
  9. Bought System Shock for 14bucks to play on the Ally but that's not happening as the text is shifty looking and small making it hard to enjoy it so it's now installed on my PC and I guess we'll see if it holds my attention.
  10. Well when your ready, you'll have a ton of support, recommendations and opinions weather you want them or not! 👍 I've been addicted to building mine and my friends and families PC for almost 20 years now. If the Camp fire hadn't happened thus losing our home and cummunity / jobs, etc I would have been building every year or two but shit happens a saying that is embedded in my soul at this point. It's taken the better part of 4 1/2 years to land back on our feet. I had bins full of old PC parts that I miss now along with so much more. If anything fails I have little in options if needed to test sticks of ram, gpus, etc. I'll get there again soon!
  11. SAME Last PC monitor I owned was when they were 12-15 inches thick and 17 inches! After using a TV I never went back. We always have top tier TVS though and many can't do that. I'm currently PC gaming on a 65" LGCX LG has 42 inch Oleds now in their line up. That's a great size for a desk I think though I sit 6 feet away from my 65" and LOVE IT!
  12. I spent 3500 on the current PC after we found a new home post Camp Fire. It's easily lasted until now and will still for another 12-18 months. It's a hobby as much as anything building PC. Having some of the very best PC you can have at any current time is exciting at least to me. I've had this one over 3 year and the 5090 or 5080Ti GPUs are still at least a year away so this is a 4-5 year build I have now and I expect to get 4 at least out of the next one. I also get to give yet another gaming PC to a family member that will be very thankful. I can not do this every 1-2 years but 3-4 or 5, yea easily! NOTE: I see my "S" key on my laptop isn't doing to well. I really don't want to upgrade that anytime soon. I see mulible mistakes in the above reply where the s didn't registure and I don't feel like editing the mistakes right now.......lol
  13. Same here. I get many more miles out of my rigs as I don't build yearly. Im Budgeting 4-5000 for this new 5090 future rig as to get 3 or more years out of it!
  14. THIS IS MY PLAN TOO!! I saw the review on this case @Jay's two cents youtube channel. I am planning a 4-5k PC budget build as soon as the 5090 or 5080Ti is available! Undecided on CPU but I have time but I will not cut corners because of cost as I normally never do anyways. I have been putting a few hundred aside every month for about 3 years just for this new PC! I have NEVER had a Nvidia top GPU as I usually buy the 80Ti series but this time I'm going for the BEST that I can buy period and I think The 50 series will be just incredible. I have bought 780Ti, 980Ti, 1080Ti and now current 2080Ti. Now I'm not like MrVic as I usually do a complete new build every 3 years or so but this PC has really held it's own and has made it easily possible to hold off until a 50 series is announced and released! Pretty excited to tell the truth. I'm hoping for around 3500$ but will budget 5k to get a Tippy top PC that will again last for at least 3 years. I have only ever one time upgraded my own PC, as they are always new builds. I have passed down 5 Home built PC to family members, but this one i'm on will go to my oldest SON!
  15. LOL FUNNY, Me too! Never beat a GTA game but I really did like Cyberpunk. It ran very well on by the time I played it on Series X. I did beat it but never was feeling like I would ever play it again or the DLC.
  16. NEVER FINISHED Thought for sure I'd love a game like this {Sunset Overdrive} but it never hooked me either. I don't believe it was over hyped because it was loved from what I remember but for me it was a fun ride for a few hours and shelved. I have to add that MOST ALL games are a fun ride for a few hours and then shelved. If a game gets me past the 5 hour make it's pretty special especially the last 5 years! Currently playing System Shock remake and I'll state i'm only 2 hours in as I bought it to play on the Ally but the text is just unreadable for me. I mean I can read it but I have to really try and that just fun. This is playing @1080p / 60 plugged in 30watt power and most all settings at high or ultra! I do have it installed now on my aging 2080ti / 9700k / 32gig DDR4 PC. Played for an hour on ALLY and the an hour on PC @4k / All Ultra settings. Pretty disappointed in the ALLY experience aspect already but this is a game that I always wanted to play but it just fell through the cracks. Here's me hoping it's not just another fun ride for a few hours and shelved!
  17. As a former {Fully rehabilitated} gas huffer, this is/was an obvious evolution!
  18. That's how I got here too. I've never had a different name either anywhere except I think Reddit where it's MrHardAct. Sony, Xbox, Nintendo & Steam always HardAct. Makes it simple. IGN around E3 was mad crazy times. Miss the days as a few have said as an avid gamer I'm pretty old!
  19. I knew it needed an adapter to run the full sized M.2 SSd's. I've been watching many Youtube videos doing this. USING THIS ADAPTER it's $15 bucks and I haven't seen anyone have an issue. It's great as you can slap one of THESE HERE copper heatsinks too. I added the SSD you linked to the cart but most 2-4Tb upgrades I've been watching are all using an adapter like I linked. I haven't even like searched full sized SSD upgrade for the Ally, It's just what people seem to be doing. I've watched at least 5 now all using them and the adapter!! Just searching HD Upgrade for ALLY. Yours is the easiest but the 980/990 pros from Samsung are faster {going to check now} pretty sure and cheaper at least for the 2Tb and that's what I'll be getting as jumping to a 4Tb is spendy. Especially right now around the holidays as ANOTHER "ME" gift. I just bought $500+ worth of Cordless tools getting ever closer to what I had pre CAMP FIRE!
  20. Yea really it's a better so called "Indie games" I think. I played a few AAA games on it but just wasn't satisfied by the performance. I play both the SD and Ally unplugged but have a 65 watt cord running along the arm of my couch for times where I'm playing extended periods of time. I'm not liking not having the Oled version as I already passed on the Switch Oled and that was hard enough lol!
  21. I have a Samsung 2 Tb 980 pro in the cart on Amazon and Best Buy for my ally. I'm just trying so hard to not spend more on myself until after the Christmas. I will NEVER EVER put another micro SD card in it. What a fail this is for ASUS, it's bad enough that it bricks them. like never to be used again, can't reformat them can't use them in something else, BRICKS THEM! This is a great system other wise but this is lawsuit stuff! ! Will be nice to get a good amount of storage on this thing, 512gigs isn't close to enough. My SD has the 512g internal and 1TB micro and that's pretty good comparatively. I'd love a 4TB drive but $280-300 is a bit steep at least right now!
  22. 7 GAMES?!.......7 games, as in, seven?? 7 games and your bowing out? and you call yourself a gamer! I have over 7 games downloading or installing at any given time boy {usually wouldn't add this but these days everyone's feelings get hurt so easily. That said friend, I'm joking. I mean absolutely NO OFFENCE man? Pease and Happy fucking holidays!!}
