I'VE BEEN SOOOOO!!!!! GOOOOOD!!!! about not buying BG3 and it's December already I think I'm going to just make my promise to myself on NO MORE GAMES THIS YEAR! SHIT...... I did buy FF16 a few weeks ago BUT! It was 29.99 @BB and I have a $10 rewards coupon that was expiring just a few days after I bought it! I don't think I have to say it here but I haven't opened it let alone played it....lol My GotY is Halls of Torment followed by Elden Ring buy obviously not released this year. That's how long it takes me to get to games. For context I still have Returnal, Ratchet & Clank, both Spiderman games {First $ Moralis} Dying Light 2, Demon Souls, Halo Infinite, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Zelda: TotK, Ghostwire Tokyo, Death Stranding, Horizon: FW, Deathloop, Mario Odyssey, Lego: Skywalker, FF7: RemakeDisco Elysium, Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Etc! I All pretty much bought close to releases except the PS5 games as I got one finally about a year after release so I bought those games on eBay for $20-45 bucks or so knowing I'd get one eventually. I take the time to type all those games out because they were bought pretty recently and it helps me to not buy NEW release games nearly as much. Keeping them fresh in my head I guess!? I have saved at least $1000 dollars on games with GamePass. It's just such a great deal IMHO. I STILL SPENT PLENTY though! REALLY like Halls of Torment. I have over 40 hours in that game playing on SD and RODAlly. Even more that Vampire Survivors. Being it's a better pretty much copy of VS and I put over 40 hours into that game also.

I'd like to wish EVERYONE a very happy Thanksgiving! I truly hope you all remain safe both yourselves and your loved ones and friends!! A lot of people are so much less fortunate than most of us in general and I'm so grateful for those around me/us especially the last 4-5years! What an eye opener our family has had and only by leaning HARD on family and loved ones were we able to get to where we are now. I know this is a "THANKS DAD" read. . .but I mean it. I am so much more intune to the hardships and suffering that so much of our world endures daily, things that before I would have not given a second thought. I to be honest have in the past kinda dreaded the Thanksgiving mass gathering, talking about absolutely nothing, stuffing ourselves and the boredom that ensues. Now/today I'm excited to go talk about nothing for hours on end. enjoy some great food and most of all be surrounded by my family! I'm hoping that you all are surrounded today by some one, anyone that you truly care about and have a Wonderful THANKSGIVING!!!

Nothing In quite awhile until yesterday when I bought FF16 from Best Buy for 29.99 after/$10 rewards certificate. Looking forwards to firing it up on the New 83" LGG3 tonight after everyone goes to bed! Still holding strong on Baldur's Gate III though. Fantastic game but waiting for sub $30 bucks as I have PLEANTY of games to hold my interest for probably 3 years at this point! lol!

EPIC FAIL!!! Just bought FF16 for $29.99 @Best Buy {Had a $10 reward certificate expiring soon} and waiting for a good sale on Baldur's Gate 3 from! FF16 will be delivered tomorrow!

So tempted to buy this. Either this of Baldurs Gate 3? I have been VERY VERY good this last 4 months. I have bought almost nothing, maybe a cheap 10 dollar steam game for the Steam deck and I don't even remember that.

Don't understand? Sbl? I do realize this is a brag as it's still kinda amazing myself! I never thought I'd end up with the top of the line G3, yea humble / greatful, lots of others come to mind! I do have an amazing Home theater now, way better than we had pre Camp fire, with the loss of our jobs, out whole cumminity, our home of 20 years! We barely escaped that fucking fire, along with the other 25,000 people that also were sadly among the 14.5k homes lost. After 5 years of Scrapping together any resemblance of what we once were! We have now completely recovered and our new home along with family, I fellow board members am TRUELY greatful! I mean unless you have ever gone through anything catastrophic like the 2018 camp fire it's hard to TRUELY understand the word GREATFUL!! Yes I have documented our whole journey within these threads and our D1P cummunity. You guys alot of you just reading and acknowledging our journey! I thank the lot of you, I know I'm long winded bigtime. This is my escape/ safe space. I have never been on Facebook, Twitter, snap chat, etc. This is the only "social media" site. I really do try and type short shit but it's ingraved in me. I am "bragging", but in an honest humble way. I know everything is temporary and life can really kick your ass sometimes. I think the g2 didn't have it, but the 77" and down did. It's looks definitely brighter to me. Gonna watch Avitar 2 on HD bluray to truely let it wow me! Fingers crossed its as crazy good as all the reviewers say it is..........

CRAZY!! They just finished the install 0f the G3 and I'm starting to put everything back to haw it was. Quite the job! These SVS Ultra towers are beasts! All in all it was about a month process! I signed in to HBO max and put in Suicide Squad while I get the living room back to normal and it's stunning! Was difficult for me to find the motion smoothness settings, but I found them and turned all that shit off! Very excited to dive back into out HD Blurays!

LGG3 83" Arrives tomorrow! Been without our 83" LGC1 now for 30 days and we have definitely missed it. Still can't believe that they "Meaning Best Buy" went out of there way to not only try and fix the problem in a timely manor, but to also allow the jump "UP" in LG's tiers of TVs! I mean a LGG3 vs. LGC1 is a massive upgrade! From most of the reviews that I have read and watched have stated that the LGC2-3 was a very minimal upgrade and the least in terms of year over year. The LGC1 vs. C2 was a pretty big up grade and the C2 vs G2 was minimal too in 2022. This year though the reviews are saying that LG has given the lest to the C3 over the C2 but the C3 vs, G3 was a BIG difference this year, basically stating that LG put in the best of everything they had in picture, UI, cooling, processing, brightness, etc to give a really massive reason to buy the G3 if you could afford it! Anyone here have a C3 or G2/G3? I'd love to hear thought good or bad and if you have any experiences with older LG Oled to make a comparison?

EVEN BETTER!!!! Getting a LGG3 now . . I just noticed that Best Buy has the LGG3 priced for black friday at the exact same price that I paid for the LGC1!! Well you won't know unless you ask / try. I called the Geek squad replacement line and actually got the same person I talked to earlier this morning and I ask if it was possible to get the LGC1 replaced instead of the LGC1 because they are the same price right now. She asked to put me on hold to ask here supervisor and they are doing it! This will be a massive upgrade, I a so excited to get a G3 as it's better in almost every! And . . . Turns out it's only 42lbs and my LGc1 is 75lbs. Having a 83" tv wall mounted out about 12" from the wall has always bothered me. This was definitely a nuisance but really worth it. No money out of pocket what so ever, install is free, haul away is free etc. Never even thought I'd have LG's flagship TV as we wanted { ME of course lol } the G1 when we first looked into buying a BIG screen but it was over $1000 more and we already paid full retail at $5999. Also kind of blows my mind that the G3 just dropped from $5999 to $4999 just in time! EXCITED I'm sure you can tell, well whom ever decides to read all this ramblings. Cheers all . . .

Yea it's crazy how used to a 65" you can get depending on seating arrangement of course but we have 3 65" TV and they do not seem big, and of course the 83" LGC1 was just massive when we got it but it's not that big anymore as you get used to it. Having an LGCX on the entertainment center in front of the 83" that's wall mounted it's really a lot smaller though and re-makes us appreciate how large a 83" TV is. We do sit 10' from it and it's just perfect I / We think anyways. Death of a beloved LGC1 continued . . . . . So . . . Yesterday FINALLY { In all honesty it was only 19 days from death, diagnosis, to Today so . . . } Geek Squad came with part in hand and a crew of 3 to fix the TV. Gotta say I was EXCITED and after about 45 minutes I could sense an uneasiness in the room, and it turn's out that either it was the wrong part in the wrong box or something was really amiss. Turns out that the control board and the power unit both were ordered and were pretty insignificant really looking pieces of Tech were not for my TV. My TV the "Control board" is baked onto the screen!? Another words connected to the screen in a way that they can't be seperated for a repair {?} So . . . They had to give me the BAD news that they had to order a NEW screen / panel! Apparently that cost's 3k+ even for GEEK SQUAD. So they ordered the screen and to say I was irritated was an understatement but also it wasn't there fault so I maintained some professionalism and they left. An hour later I received a call stating that I would be up for replacement as cost's were reasonable I guess, this is what the manager in the BB store stated would most likely be the case in the very beginning. So Sunday they are bringing a Brand New LGC3 and installing it and hauling the old TV away and I can move on. Pretty excited to get an LGC3 but in no way was I even disappointed with the LGC1. Both my LGC series TV's are amazing, stunning actually when the right content is being displayed, gaming, HD Blu Rays, ETC!

We don't hear anything about them anymore! Are they over/gone or in a vegetated state ready to resurface when the time is right? Last thing I remember in the NFT news world was that guy who had his monkey/gorilla NFT stolen and was privately trying to negotiate it back at some egregious amount. I remember being stunned that he was willing to pay that amount for something that is not "REAL"! I HAD TOTALLY forgotten about the large black border around the SD, so I now see how they were able to put a .4" larger screen in without a total redesign of the chassis. Actually after looking at the pic comparison the SD could theredicolly have an 8" oled with no black borders?? Honestly I just want all this in a ROG ALLY 2.0 It's much better at PC gaming and plays game pass games. Give me an Ally with a 7.5" oled, Hall Effect sticks, longer battery, faster wifi, a second USB-C port and a performance boost for $799.99-849.99 and I'll be a very happy gamer. They Oled SD though sounds tempting but it's not going to make me use it more other than maybe the first week or so. Having The ROG Ally along side the SD it's night and day the amount of things you can use it for being a FULL version windows handheld is pretty great. Could be better and I suspect these are exactly what the folks at ASUS are thinking. I REALLY do wish these handheld companies would consider at the very least the better Hall Effect sticks as there dot easily replaceable like say a Nswitch's thus making it in my eyes a no brainer!! I guess the added cost of say 15 bucks is to much? The internal storage in mute in my opinion as you can add a 2TB microSD so saving at least some money there. 2TB micros are dirt cheap these days for even the EVOs.

Screen is noticeably bigger in that pic, interesting! OK I WANT ONE!! maybe sell my 512gig unit. Smark man just dismisses the "SHINY NEW" thing and waits for an performance update with an Oled! I've never really been to smart when it comes to these type things. Thus why I have a Switch, Steam deck and an Ally that in all fairness do not get the play time that that kind of money should justify but I digress. They need to put in Hall Effect sticks too then it's a supreme version by far IMHO that is. I put them in mine and did the soldering so the trackpads work and they really do make a great upgrade for anyone willing to do a little bit of tinkering.

So it's an Oled 7.4" vs LCD 7" why the larger screen too, wouldn't that mean they had to completely remake the units to accept this new screen? The Bigger battery is nice and it's on 6nm vs 7mn on mine. What's the benefit there? COOLING? it's not faster AT ALL but completely redesigned to hold a .4" bigger screen? Seems odd, and it's WiFi 6 too I guess. Limited edition? Why? Just seems odd that it'll have all this in the way of change but no performance boost other than longer battery and I still want one! Will Attempt to Preorder one anyways while I ponder why I feel I have to have this....lol

NOT THE MOST POWERFUL HANDHELD ! {says this under first pic: Steam Deck™ is the most powerful, full-featured gaming handheld in the world.} But........ Dammit Jim, I WANT ONE. I didn't really care to upgrade the switch when the Oled was released because I rarely play it, but the Steam deck gets a fair amount of use! I play the ROD Ally more though so probably gonna wait to upgrade until the Ally has an Oled screen!

Should've take the severance and pooled that instead of starting a patreon / go-fund-me 24 hours later. I know it's the principle here and not the money but it's not like their spilling anything Juicy! asking for funds for whatever they decide to work on next is ballsy at the least. I do like that they all weren't cash poor as to be able to even walk away like that after there coliques were fired, respect that for sure. I was pretty much trapped'sh in a job for a very long time because the money was good but it was miserable and I have respect for people that can walk away and pursue a different path when the situation isn't idea and it wears on you mental state!! I only stayed because of my 5 kids. Really scary world out there when you have that many mouths to feed! I really wish now I had done something else, something I actually liked to do other than run a newspaper / phonebook / magazine printing crew for over 22 years!

AHHH HELL just remembered Boulders Gate III damn it. I really do want that game! looking for a sale. Anyone play BGIII of the Ally? if so how well does it translate? Text wise especially can you set in size of text for smaller screens? Any BG3 and Ally impressions would be greatly appreciated!

Never ever a doubt but it's nice practicing patience while it lasts. I really have nothing on the horizon either that I can think of and that's amazing in and of itself!! Other than Elden Ring DLC I'm not buying anything for awhile. Starting to put a little bit away every month or so in the 5080Ti/5090 gaming PC build kitty also. Not buying games is really helping there too! That's gonna need 3-4k
