i should have clarified i meant by the media people that review games. some people flat out refused to review it. i knew it would sell well because its HP and most people don’t care about one person’s views

really great movie. lily gladstone absolutely carries this film emotionally. leo and deniro may have more speaking lines but they felt like supporting characters as gladstone’s character is really the heart and soul of this film.

the photoshoot for this was fucking terrible. i think she was a good pick but damn the people in charge of the photoshoot botched it pretty hard.

honestly the best use for a chromebook is to keep kids occupied when i have a sub. if i have them on chromebooks i have to constantly monitor some of them so they’re not playing games or finding some workaround to watch netflix.

it’s insane how many kids are texting their parents throughout the day. it’ll be 3rd period and a kid asks me if they can text their parent about something that’s not that important. i say no and they’re like “my mom is expecting a reply?!?!”

yeah reading is terrible. at 7th-8th grade, a lot of the kids CAN read, but they have awful comprehension. they’re just reading the words. they also have TERRIBLE reading and writing stamina. if they can’t solve/answer something quickly, they ask me where they can find it. and they’re not searching through pages and pages of info. they’re looking at….. like 4 paragraphs. i can’t let students use their chromebooks because a lot of kids will just google the answer and use the first result they get whether or not it is actually correct. even if it means they get a zero for plagiarism. they’ll still do it because all they care about it doing it so they can say they did it and do something else.

i think the movie suffered more from switching directors and raimi not getting to go full raimi since it’s an mcu film. some of the stuff he directed was raimi and it was great but mcu held him back.
