  1. FF6 is a game I played for the first time in 2007, after I played FF7 and X and X-12 and XII. I don't remember if I played 8/9 before or after, but I can say despite playing all these other FFs, I really dug 6 for a lot of reasons. @Fizzzzle ended up being a great secondary villain who gives one of my favorite lines.
  2. Oklahoma official with white nationalist ties is ousted in recall vote WWW.NBCNEWS.COM Judd Blevins, who marched alongside neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, lost his fight to remain on Enid’s City Council.
  3. I think people would find more success stories if they didn't let their pessimism pollinate and actually followed the buzz from these stories the whole way through instead of bumbling around about how nothing gets done.
  4. I disagree somewhat. Progressive issues have done well on the ballot, from restoring felons' voting rights (yes, state gov't found a way to circumvent that, but I'm talking strictly in terms of voter support), to $15 minimum wage, to medical marijuana. Kansas and Ohio wouldn't have passed abortion with a 60% threshold, but 57%/59% makes this seem doable for either. And helping turnout for down-ballot Dems would be helpful here, not to mention the effort of getting rid of Scott.
  5. One of those people who's been old all our lives.
  6. Joseph Lieberman, senator and vice-presidential nominee, dies at 82 - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM As Al Gore’s Democratic running mate in 2000, he was the first Jewish candidate on the national ticket of a major party. Lieberman was a former Senator, big Iraq War advocate (and endorsed John McCain in 2008 partly due to that and his friendship to him), and Democratic VP candidate in 2000.
  7. Biden-Harris statement:
  8. Admittedly, I'm at work and juggling some stuff, so I felt weird reading the thread title thinking Jason misspelled James Comey, then felt weird wondering what Comey had to do with this.
  9. I didn't know Warmer had anything to do with film! If the former, is there much sniperbole in the film, @sblfilms?
  10. Been playing Ch. 8. Man, is Can't believe I still have a bunch of other places that I'm assuming I'll tackle, such as Also, apparently I and some others were spoiled elsewhere on the internet. Someone posted on a non-spoiler thread thinking they were in a spoiler thread. Understandable mistake, but I didn't need to hear it. I heard My friend told me if that's all that was spoiled, I'm one of the lucky ones, so hey!
  11. But... how does this make sense in that context?
  12. I watched the video before this thread was made. The only thing I'm seeing is she might leave the GOP, which would make her more "Sinema," which is still a stretch.
  13. 2024 Games Final Fantasy 7 Integrade More Starcraft online Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
  14. I could go to the Gold Saucer right now, but I'm clearing up some side quests in the area before it. Also did some piano playing and Queens Blooding.
  15. Biden steered an entire State of the Union speech toward Medicare/Social Security against a bunch of angry Republicans. Any press release I get from Democrats is about abortion, Social Security/Medicare, and manufacturing.
