I had been meaning to pick up The Gardens Between, so this pushed me over the edge. I should also get around to picking up and playing Florence. It looks like a good short round of fun.

I'm really starting to believe a foreign government duped Bloomberg. For what reasons, I don't know, but it would be the only explanation that would make any sense here.

I couldn't be happier for a lot of them. I'm trying not to be biased, but I can't imagine how anyone couldn't like these guys.

So how long until "well, he was actually a Democrat"? -

And she's out... She also defended her tweet on the way out the door, so there's that as well. I like the line about her experience since it includes her time spent covering for Nassar. -

You mean like the "live action" Lion King that's coming up. At least this one and Jungle Book had some human actors. -

This is the guy that said his wife was freaked out about this kid trying to break in and then he slipped and accidentally fired his gun, right? That's quite the story when he, himself, has his front door covered by a security camera. I'm surprised he didn't even try to erase the footage. -
Nintendo How well does Xenoblade 2 run in handheld mode?
Ghost_MH replied to HardAct's topic in The Spawn Point
Really? The salvaging QTEs were tricky in some areas. The QTEs during battles may as well have not existed because they were so easy to hit. I think the only times I ever missed a QTE in battle was when one of my kids pulled my attention away from the Switch. This isn't Mario and Luigi having you hit attacks in some sort of rhythm or based on some well timed cue. That sucks, but I have no idea if that's the norm. -
Nintendo How well does Xenoblade 2 run in handheld mode?
Ghost_MH replied to HardAct's topic in The Spawn Point
The only actual timing based action in the games were for the special and elemental attacks and not once did frame rate limit my ability to hit those. Again, I played the game like 90% in handheld mode and sank well over 100 hours into it. This is not an action RPG. It's like Grandia, but you can manually control the character movement and your character just auto-spams the basic attack when its action meter reaches the end. Going back and playing through Star Fox on the SNES is hard, even though I loved the game when it first came out. Xenoblade 2 is nothing like that. It gets ugly sometimes, but it's perfectly playable and never stops being fun. -
Television First Look: Ruby Rose as Batwoman

Nah. WB should just do a straight sequel to the Tim Burton Batman films and turn those into Batman Beyond. Bring back Michael Keaton as old Bruce and cast whoever as Terry. -

Eh...I played the game like 90% handheld. It gets ugly at times, but it never stopped the game from being enjoyable. This is a turn based JRPG we're talking about here. -
Everything about this is dumb. I actually liked Google+ as a place to share photos. There just wasn't anyone to, you know, share photos with there. I stopped using it years ago after this became apparent. Either way. Update: https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/9/17957312/google-plus-vulnerability-privacy-breach-law TLDRL This wasn't actually a breach and there is no evidence that anyone's data was stolen. Google patched the issue back when it was first discovered that this the API call could theoretically be used in a malicious manner...not that anyone ever tried to use it in a malicious manner. Seems to me that Google was already planning to shutter Google+ to non-GSuite users and is just using this as an excuse to either announce their plans or hasten its death.

There are an other 5m or so Puerto Ricans living states-side, so I'm pretty sure that number doesn't cover half the people that care about that factoid. -
Everyone is coming out pretty strongly against this story... https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/4/17936968/apple-amazon-deny-servers-chinese-spy-chips It's not often you see these companies out right deny a report this detailed.
