  1. Kneel at a football game and you lack respect. Take to the streets and you're too violent. Almost as if it's about something besides the method. Can't put my finger on what though.
  2. My friends and I discussed that too. My intuition tells me that women my age and younger aren't the type to go and rank on IMDB. But that's the exact age group that would love Harry Potter too so I don't know. Thought this was fairly obvious. Sorry for not clarifying. But that's also why the only good Harry Potter movie isn't on that list. There isn't a disparity between men/women on that one.
  3. Obviously this is not scientific. But my favorite thing of this is that men seem to run the gamut of age of film, whereas women have one film from 1965, a couple from the 1990s, and the rest from 2000+.
  4. Hillary Clinton fan fic is what the world needs right now.
  5. Dan in Real Life - 2/10 This movie feels like it was written by a middle-aged white woman from Minnesota who has a vacation home in a place with a name like Winnepasaukeeport who never had a real problem in her entire life. Is there an onomatopoeia for when something is so saccharine that you just want to puke? Replace all these thoughts with that if you can.
  6. I'm talking about CFH and beyond: Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, Far Beyond Driven, The Great Southern Trendkill, and Reinventing the Steel
  7. I don't get the hype either. The whole premise just had me rolling my eyes from the get go then the mediocre everything else made the movie a dud for me.
  8. Was happy to see Colonial Marines on this list. I enjoyed the game because of its aesthetic more than anything. Not a good game but pretty decent and plenty there for an Aliens fan.
  9. Was watching CNN and they were showing more security footage. Tons and tons of people of all ages were stopping and looking inside that house. Naturally the cops were only called when it was a black guy.
  10. Looking at Utah on that Vox map I wouldn't be surprised. Anecdotally our testing rate seems pretty low because I've taken my FIL to those drive-thru testing stations three times and there's never any line. We're able to just pull right up. According to this Wapo page Utah looks to be in relatively good shape, but that seems pretty meaningless if we're not testing more.
  11. And there's the rub. But these tweets aren't pointing out his rigid interpretation of a document that is largely useless today. Rather, showing he's just like pretty much any other conservative trying to appeal to dimwits who fear or don't understand science.
