I went to Costco this morning and stood in the toilet paper line. When they let us in the store there was a stack 2m x 2m x one length of the store, stretching from the entrance to the back of the store. That should get me through the week.

I don't disagree. Your argument is addressing oranges, but I'm addressing apples. If Biden's strategy is to go through the midwest--as was key to Trump's victory--then a midwesterner with national name recognition is a pretty smart choice. Boring for everyone outside the Midwest? Yeah. But so was Pence.

I actually started the rollover process for my 401k to my current employer the day before this all started. Just got the check in the mail today. It says it's good for up to 180 days. I think I'll wait a few more days to deposit it with my new employer's service provider.

I was paying $150/mo for just Internet. Then Comcast sent me a promo to get cable TV and Internet for less than I was paying for just Internet. I took that. When that promo runs out the city's fiber should be in my neighborhood according to their schedule. I'll be making that switch then.
