  1. I feel like it will be a 2024 release. I don't see Rockstar showing a trailer and then topping it off with a date that far away into 2025.
  2. I'm a big fan of physical therapy. They can really help you out. Only drawback is the price. With my insurance they still wanted a $45 co pay with every visit which added up when they wanted to do it 2-3 times a week. You say electric pain relief machine. Was it like TENS unit? I did physical therapy for my leg last year and bought one for myself. I bought the Omron PM500, it's about $65 on Amazon. Well worth the price.
  3. I’m more of an every 2 year person for Call of Duty. This was the year I had a little desire to jump in. Bought it and started the story. 3 levels in and yeah… it’s pretty lame. I think it’s the 2nd level you have to put gps trackers on some cargo containers. At first I thought it was neat that it was a pretty big open level. But then you have to keep picking up armor plates and holding triangle to equip them after you take damage. So many areas had these boxes in the environment to change your load out. I immediately started thinking they just took an area out of the Warzone map and put some quick objectives on it. Not sure if I’ll bother playing the rest.
  4. I usually get excited for anything Metal Gear Solid. When I saw the trailer for the master collection months back, i immediately got a bad vibe from it. Like they did nothing to it. Looks like my feeling was right.
  5. I’ve cut back big time on Taco Bell. Their prices are noticeably higher in my area. I love the food but it’s not always worth it.
  6. I played the beta on PS5. They cram a bunch of stuff under one umbrella now. I was surprised to see the beta was 100GB+ until I loaded it up to see it’s got MW3, zombie mode, Warzone, and MW2 in the menu. The launcher was also called Call of Duty.
  7. @Slug It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Slither but I remember really liking it. I should watch that again.
  8. I sleep through the loudest thunderstorms so I wonder if I would sleep through gunfire as well
  9. It would be nice if they would. I’ve been on an every two year thing with CoD for a while now. I need that year break between each one.
  10. Well time to cancel another one I guess. tv+ is one of those services we rarely use, but pay for it because it’s so cheap. Not anymore.
  11. So many lives changed and ruined all because some piece of shit has access to firearms. I don’t even have words for attacks like these anymore. Just hope none of us ever end up at the wrong place at the wrong time.
  12. @Fizzzzle Do you still have the cyst in your armpit? I had a Dr diagnose a small lump in my armpit when I was around 15 years old. Never changed or was a problem until I was in my early 30’s. Woke up one morning and i thought something was lodged under my arm or something in the bed. I felt it and the cyst had decided to go nuclear and suddenly felt like a golf ball. Long story short I got it removed but was absolutely grossed out for weeks with “wound care”. I remember after the procedure the nurse was like “ok let’s go over how to pack the wound and change the dressing”. What…? “Yeah here’s how you’re going to pack gauze into the hole everyday as it’s healing so you don’t end up with a dead space in your armpit”. I didn’t think I would ever be able to look inside an area of my armpit before….not a fan.
  13. @stepee I talk on it daily for work. I legit had people compliment how good I sounded on my old phone which was a Pixel 2 XL. Coming to Apple I’m just shocked if this is what they find acceptable. I’ve taken the case off which didn’t help. Made sure all the speaker ports/holes are gunk free. Searching online there was mention of an accessibility setting, under audio/video there was something about call mic isolation but the option is no longer there.
  14. The iPhone 13 Pro was my first iPhone. Android all before that. My wife was all iPhone. I specifically remember when she got the 12 Pro I thought the call quality was atrocious. All this background noise being picked up on her end. She finally talked me into going Apple and I got the 13 pro. Never knew how bad i sounded talking to people until multiple people pointed it out. Like any noise in close proximity just seems to be amplified into the phone call. I was at a playground with my kids recently and my dad could make out kids screaming who were ridiculously far away (not exaggerating-like 75-100ft away at least). Said it sounded like they were right beside me screaming at the phone .A few months ago my wife’s phone died so she got the 14 Pro, surprise surprise still sounds bad. To be clear I’m talking phone only, no speakerphone and no Bluetooth headsets. Is this what everybody deals with when you have an iPhone?
  15. @ort Well said. These companies are so deep in bed with China. There’s no way Apple lets one guy with a tv show get in the way of that relationship.
  16. @Remarkableriots Take comfort in the good memories and feelings you have for your friend. There is one person in particular that I think about occasionally that I grew up with. He died at work suddenly one day from a brain aneurysm. I like to think back to the couple sleepovers we had staying up all night playing video games. Seeing movies and doing odd jobs together to make money. Just makes me feel good.
  17. Addiction and especially the accidental overdoses can have such a sad rippling effect. Around 2015 there was a guy in our circle who died from a fentanyl overdose, alone while his wife was at work, kid was in daycare. They came home to that. The guy who died had a younger brother that I knew in high school. The brother committed suicide in 2020 and left behind a wife and 2 young daughters. I know losing his brother had to have played a part because they were so close. Just sad being in the wrong headspace or making the wrong choice in a moment can have such devastating effects.
  18. I have this vivid memory of riding in a hot air balloon on a fall day as a kid. Brought it up to my parents and I said “I definitely never rode in a hot air balloon right?” They said definitely not, but we did go somewhere when I was around 11 or 12 years old and watched hot air balloons take off. I literally have no memory of doing that or seeing them but I have this fake memory of fucking flying in one.
  19. The last few months I started paying for YouTube premium. When I have nothing else to do and I turn the tv on, I find myself going to that the most. It’s become a fast way to get major news headlines through the day along with endless other content to keep me busy.
  20. I’m dieing to cancel Netflix but can’t because of the family. Most of their content does nothing for me, my wife seems to eat up everything they put out, and my kids just rewatch the same stuff over and over.
  21. I feel like Ticketmaster doesn’t really need to hide their shitty ticket prices anymore. Even with inflation and everyone complaining about ticket prices, they all seem to sell out no problem. It’s a needed change for sure though. This is also desperately needed for things like Airbnb. I’ve seen hosts try to charge insane fees.
