    I got a tv last month for a small game room I put together. Spent a while trying to pick between an LG oled and the Sony X900H. Went with the Sony out of fear of burn in (since my kids will be using it a lot). Supposedly with a firmware update it will support VRR, ALLM, and 4k120. But with news like this with the LG oled's, I'm kind of expecting to run into issues.

    I gotta say this is a really nice package. The price, soundtrack, graphics, amount of content, and all the memories the game brings back....Probably makes it my game of the year.

    The last time I seriously put time into Madden was 2004. I remember Michael Vick was practically unstoppable in the game. I forget which play it was, but you'd quickly pass the ball to Warrick Dunn, he would drop back and you throw the ball to Vick and just sprint to the end zone. After that I was all about NFL 2K5 until falling off most sports games.

    Or if it was safe, I would have a really hard time believing that it actually could prevent you from contracting any strain of the virus.

    Yeah but for the first year or two they would be trying their hardest to stick it to EA. We would get at least one great NFL game before it went all downhill with casino games.

    I'm picky, I want hard details. Something more than "We're expecting backwards compatible titles to run at a higher frequency". We are like 2 and a half months from release and they can't seem to give examples. Show me Bloodborne load times or something.

But Sony hasn't made much of a splash about what to expect when it comes to that which is starting to worry me.

    My issue right now is how little I know about the PS5 when it comes to backwards compatible games. I play Apex Legends and Rocket League pretty often. How will these games run on a PS5? Will every PS4 game run smoother? I'm almost thinking of it like when I get a whole new PC, and everything loads faster and has better framerates. Is that the case for a PS4 game running on a PS5 I should probably lower my expectations.

    Anything they can do to keep consoles out of scalpers hands is fine by me. I'm a little worried about console preorders after what happened with the Switch and the pandemic(scalpers using bots to suck up all the stock).

    I registered yesterday but dont have the highest hopes. Do you think this means they are announcing the price soon? If they are collecting PSN tags now, maybe they take another week or so to announce the price along with sending out emails to see who was picked.

    Sounds like they will eventually lose enough money to call it quits, and Google or Amazon will swoop in. Buy up all the research and data and suddenly have Google Taxi be picking people up

    Back in 2003, I let a friend borrow EA's Freedom Fighters for the PC. He let me borrow a book. School and then life got in the way and we never really met up again since we were going to different schools. In 2019 I ended up getting a chance to return the book. Didn't get my game back though

    Agreed. I finally hit my limit with season passes. I've only really invested in Rocket League and Apex Legends. But the thought of having time for any other game is laughable. It's so tempting to drop that extra $10 to keep unlocking stuff but it's never anything that amazing. And it's never unique since everybody else is unlocking the same stuff anyway. This Avengers game could be especially dirty with the amount of characters they have.... thats a lot of "premium" costumes that can pop up to tempt you to buy.

    Definitely don't see myself getting into this game. I bought a 3 pack of gum at the grocery store that happened to have the codes on them. Anybody wants a code let me know.

    My son was just watching the newer Pee Wee movie on Netflix last night. This was a little creepy to watch.

    I just bought the base game on sale a few weeks ago for PS4. I just started it the other night. I can keep playing but part of me would rather wait for the better version. But also its fucking absurd I have to pay for better performance. That would be like if Battlefield V charged you for a ray tracing patch.
