My feelings on Ellen are complex. On the one hand, she did a great deal of help to the LGBTQ+ community in the 90s in terms of growing acceptance among the cis community. On the other, she is a trash human being, from the sounds of it. Like many historical figures, I guess the correct way to look at it is that she is a complicated person who is a piece of garbage, but ultimately did some things that benefited some people. Man, I had such a huge crush on Anne Heche when I was younger.

I highly recommend Solar Opposites (on Hulu/Disney+, depending where you live) if you like Rick and Morty. It's made by the same people (with similar voice acting), and has the same kind of humour. Really great stuff. -
Some of Ford's cabinet should end up in prison over this, but there is a better-than-even chance that Ford wins reelection, even with something like 32% of the vote. The Liberals and NDP are just splitting the left/centre-left vote too efficiently.

Good. Successive federal governments have done very little to better living conditions within Indigenous communities. The current one is doing better than most, but that's not good enough (and is still falling behind their advertised targets). There is no reason, for example, while schools on Indigenous reserves should receive 50% the funding that non-reserve schools receive.
