Toppled statue of slave trader Edward Colston goes on public display WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Exhibit is ‘for everyone to have your say on how we move forward together’, says commissioner If it remains like this...then I actually don't mind (especially if they provide display info on what he did, etc).

The most ridiculous thing is...the emails don't change anything about the virus in America. If they did somehow show that Fauci and other suspected the virus might have escaped from a lab...so what? That doesn't change anything about the American response or the spread within the country. And of course the emails don't show that, they are just being cherry picked to show the emails where they discuss this being a possibility. But even if it was proved tomorrow that the virus originated in nature, was experimented on within a lab in China (which the US does as well!!!!) and then accidentally escaped...it doesn't change anything.

Veteran's audio cut when he discusses Blacks' role in Memorial Day AMP.BEACONJOURNAL.COM What at first seemed to be a short\u00a0audio malfunction at Monday's Memorial Day ceremony in Hudson's Markillie Cemetery turned out to be anything but. -
You know, I was hoping to go the rest of my life without having to worry about converting moles ever again.

Animal Crossing is a giant game that is almost a genre to itself...you just don't like the genre. That is fine...but it's like me saying that Call of Duty doesn't count as a successful game because it's just the same thing over and over and I don't enjoy it very much.

"Yeah, Goldeneye sold well, but it is what it is. Mario 64 appealed to some. Mario Kart 64 is it's own thing. But tell me, when is the Nintendo 64 going to get a good game?"

I hope there's a 10-minute scene in the movie where the main character stares at 8 different guns and compares their min/max stats before deciding which to keep. -
Considering the shipment issues with AstraZeneca (hell, and Moderna), this is good news. My mom got her first AZ shot on Mar 15, and she now has her Pfizer second shot booked for this Saturday.

Gov. Ron DeSantis says Florida won't waver in fining cruise lines over passenger vaccination requirements WWW.NEWSWEEK.COM DeSantis' remarks came two days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued approval for the first revenue cruise to leave an American port in over a year. Hmm. What happened to "let people and companies decide!"

The final guidelines have been posted for my province. Each of these take effect 3 weeks after the goal has been met: Step 1 (achieved - 77%) - 70% of 40+ with at least one dose [allow indoor gatherings up to 10 people] Step 2 (achieved - 71%) - 70% of 30+ with at least one dose [increase household gathering sizes to 15, open restaurants without restriction] Step 3 (not achieved - 66%) - 70% of 18+ with at least one dose [remove restrictions on gatherings and events] Step 4 (not achieved - 62%) - 70% of 12+ with at least one dose [remove all mask and other restrictions] Nice to have solid metrics to look forward to and follow, in terms of re-opening. I would have liked to see second dose requirements included, but the uptake so far has been great for that, as well, and should reach most people by August.

It's definitely a national disgrace and a stain on the country's history. I hope this finally allows for funding to explore the grounds of all former residential schools to find the other bodies, because I guarantee most of them had graves. They didn't care about the "Indian" kids. I also want to see reparations paid out to descendants, taken from both government coffers (since they helped organized and orchestrate the schools), as well as the Catholic Church. To this day the church hasn't really acknowledged what they did. Fuck the Catholic Church.

Interesting premise, but looks like it will be a dumb execution.
