Inside.. follow-up to Limbo. So I started playing demo for Little Nightmares and found it quite likable for all its mechanics etc.. so I started playing Inside and was somewhat underwhelmed for its “simpler” gameplay.. but I trudged forward, after finding momentum I managed to play through the whole thing… Its a great game, but it again leaves too many unanswered questions..

I dont mind games applying an ROE if theres civilians on the battlefield… the problem is the “game” version of those mechanics never go deep enough.. if turning a village of NPCs hostile affects the gameplay and has consequences it would be great, but all games give you an out.. having mechanics where you have to treat and/or extract the wounded is more gameplay… bug people dont really want that.. they want the faster gameplay loop of “shoot everything”

Im so disconnected wast even aware of what the vouchers program was about.. Its not bad overall and of course Nintendo ensured that games are listed at $60 to ensure you “feel” the value.. but with Zelda, and Pikmin on the horizon

Death penalty is such a hard question to really weigh… these mass school shooters… majority of them plead insanity because to exercise that level of cruelty we all say “they must be insane”… but insane or not is there a recovery from that? redemption? It is a wasted life, so why maintain through incarceration? well death penalty is more expensive than incarceration they say… well if these folks are so “insane” and detached from society why bother with a “humane” death? Honestly its a mess, just the concept of validating/justifying taking a life is insane but at the same time preserving one thats wasted and has no future…

Im at that point as well.. finally moved off post, its a relatively quiet place.. but you sit around and get contaminated with all the daily lunacy news.. you cant help sometimes want to have that extra level of “security” just because it almost feels so common that you think you might find yourself in a situation one day where someone is so brazen to do a home invasion robbery.. heck my friend who lives in Texas just had a run in with someone… she went to her car to put some stuff in it, she went inside to get more stuff and when she went to put that in a guy grabbed her and started struggling with her from behind… the person eventually ran off but she was shook… upon driving the car she discovered the guy had likely been underneath car because her converter had been partially cut

The Sheriffs office put out a statement already expressing their shock and disgust… they vow to investigate the legality of the recording.. they are also confident the audio is altered.. thankfully the FBI has been involved not sure if the “good old boy” network goes that high but at least it skips the “we will conduct an internal unbiased investigation” most agencies do.
